ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello,
Here, are some of the points for both the universities which may help you in making a good decision.
A. NIT Srinagar:
1. It has a very good placements history where the figure is 100% in some of the departments and around 90% in others.
2. The weather in NIT Srinagar is just awesome.
3. The faculty and staff is also very good. The faculties are experienced as well.
4. The college also has fests and events.
Some, negative points may be related to the weather, area and climate etc. Which may not suit everyone.
B. NIT Andhra Pradesh:
1. The faculties are trained here as well and all of them have P.hds.
2. The campus is good (but not compared to Srinagar).
3. The College also has team which takes part in several events. Also, they have events in college as well.
4. Placements are also good and are increasing year by year as the university is new as compared to other NITs.
The negative points here are also related to area and the fact that Andhra Pradesh NIT is new considerably. The faculties here may not be that much experienced as compared to other but no doubt the College is becoming better and better day by day.
Overall, you can chose for any of the colleges considering the other factors like location and climate in mind. I would suggest you for NIT Andhra Pradesh as it will be near to your home town and also looking at other related factors. The college is also new as compared to other so it will give you an advantage as well.
Hello dear student !
NIT Srinagar is quite good institution for engineering and is government. For electrical power and energy engineering , of course it is not the best among other NITs such as NIT Tiruchirapalli , NIT Warangal, NIT Allahabad, NIT Bhopal , which are among the best for the same, but NIT Srinagar is TOTALLY worthy for electrical power and energy engineering if you can't able to make through the above mentioned NITs. In terms of placements, all the NITs are quite nice and top ranked companies visit these colleges so for placements, if your performance is good then you can be placed with a very good salary.
Hope this will help you!
Hello Aspirant,
The exact prediction would be difficult regarding your admission possibilities based on your percentile. But as per the previous year cutoff with this percentile the chances seems less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.
You can try for the state level counseling. To know your admission possibilities in state level counselling you can use JEE Main college predictor tool given below.

Hello Gaju
I can't say much about these two colleges as i have not been a part of these institutes. But if you consider all the issues and area then go for JNUTH. If you consider the demographic ways then Hyderabad is well located as compare to Srinagar.
Hello Farheena,
It is very late to answer your query. JOSSA counselling is over now, With this score the chances are less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs. I hope you had applied for the private colleges or state counselling.
Good Luck!
Well it is true that there has been some tension in Jammu & Kashmir. But if you talk about the institutions then I do not think that there has been any official notice regarding late admission.
You can't change your college now. You should have thought at the time of option filling. You need to report when institute mention any specific time otherwise at the date previously allotted.
Facilities are okay, with classrooms that are functional and equipped with WiFi and smartboards. Laboratories meet basic needs. The library is large but lacks some newer resources. Sports facilities are acceptable, though not always fully utilized. Hostels need better cleanliness, and food needs improvement.
yes, our college has all the facilities and infrastructures we have facilities like wifi, smart boards and seating and acoustics, and labs are euipped up to date equipment relevent to the subjects being taught
Wow, that's what you will say after looking at our campus. Beautiful view with greenery and more amazing in the rainy season. I didn't like the mess food at all. Also good built hostel rooms with proper wifi facilities are present.
