Yes, you can get room there even through you are a Delhi candidate only as getting a hostel in NSIT is very much easy, due to less crowd but Delhi people get it a little late and you need to keep a track on number of rooms left vacant after each allotment and visit the hostel office for each update for allotment.

You should go for the branch in which you have maximum interest and in which you can give your best. But college wise as both the options are good but as per the rating and reviews, Thapar University is better.

NSIT is one of the best college of DELHI NCR bro
Students must have secured at least 60% (5% relaxation for reserved category in DTU and just pass in PCM for NSIT)aggregate marks or more in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at Senior School Certificate Examination Level/XII.
Besides this, they should also have passed English as a subject (Core or Elective) at Senior School Certificate Examination Level.
Each of the above subjects needs to be passed individually/separately.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of my college is quite good and well maintained. The campus is spacious with clean classroom, fully equipped laps ,and a decent library where students can study peacefully. The Wi-Fi works well in most academic areas and the campus is overall neat and organized. Sports facility and open spaces like canteen give a good campus vibe.
