NSUT Delhi Q&A on Admission, Fee, Courses, Placements, Cutoff

You have less chances based on your marks to get these colleges. You can get good private college in other states like: Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Most of the states have reservation for other state students in private colleges based on JEE Main score/rank. You need to apply separately for them.

i had cracked jee mains without EVEN coaching and are getting admission in DTU,NSIT and i am also hoping to crack ggsipu cet with 240 marks

You should take admission in DTU if you getting this college. It has good ratings and reviews.

It doesn't matter you have cracked your exam with the help of coaching institutes or not.

If you are determined to get admission in IITs then you can take a drop.

Last year it increased but for this year there is no official information for the same.

i have obc from up but it is a central certificate.But i passed 12 from delhi i can use in dtu and nsit.reply please

For the reserved categories, there are two lists of castes - one issued by the State govt and the other issued by the Central govt.

In many cases, there are castes that are recognized as OBC by the relevant State govt but not by the Central govt. Thus, such castes would be in the relevant Stae govt list not in the Central govt's list.

For OBC reservation in Central govt institutes such as the IITs, NITs, IIITs (except IIITH) and CFTIs, the relevant caste should be mentioned in the Central govt's list and the cert should be issued by the relevant Central govt authority.

So if it is centrally approved then it shall be approved.

Which branch i can expect in jac delhi 2017(for dtu,nsit and iiitd) with an air 121000 Delhi OBC quota?

none ...if thats ur obc rank...expect anything if ur rank is below 30k

Should I go for Automobile engineering in DTU or for Mechanical engineering in NSIT Delhi.

It totally depends on your interest that you want to choose mechanical engineering or automobile engineering.

If we compare the colleges than DTU has good ratings than NSIT. It has AAAA+ rating which means outstanding and if we compare the branches than mechanical engineering has better scope than automobile engineering.

College Infrastructure

NSUT is located in Dwarka and it is almost connected to the main city via metro (blue line) . my college is big with a lot of trees and big ground . we have an Amul store near the APJ abdul kalam lecture thereat complex . NSUT have big classrooms which can hold a lot of student strength and labs are equipped . in short campus is big and great

College Infrastructure

Labs are good for CS, but core branches labs doesn't live up to the expectation. Theory classes are well equipped with wifi, ac, smartboard,etc. For sports, there are enough grounds for different sports. There is also a gym, but equipments are not that well maintained.

Overall, the campus is good Enough .

College Infrastructure

Talking about infrastructure, especially the smart classes and the apj hall are well maintained with smart boards but the block classrooms are just average as it doesn't have smart boards in it. Including library, gym, sports room, canteen, laboratory everything is pretty good. Although the campus is too big , as it takes a lot of time to go from one place to another.Wifi accessibility is free for each and every student. Their is staff available at every place inside the college for cleaning purpose, so it's neat and clean even inside the restrooms and the canteen.
