Just heard that VTU has made Compulsory Kannada Language along with the 8 Subjects for 1st year engineering students

Yes they made Kannada as a compulsory subject that marks will be included in the percentage don't worry brother I will also read the kannadian language.

Is autonomous is better or VTU is better???

Autonomous colleges are colleges that are affiliated to some university (most colleges are affiliated to VTU) but form their own syllabus and conduct their own exam. The degree however is still awarded by VTU. Most other colleges follow the VTU syllabus and exam. Now as per the choice I think

In engineering VTU is good or AUTONOMOUS is good

Colleges which are autonomous have the liberty to conduct any kind of exam the way they want so Autonomous colleges have an advantage over affiliated colleges.

While the colleges which are affiliated to VTU have to follow the same course structure as designed by VTU and examinations will be

Hostel life is disciplined and safe. Food quality is average and may not suit everyone’s preferences. Still, accommodation facilities are generally comfortable. The university offers good lab infrastructure for practical learning.
