The selection process consists of written test. Candidates who wish to apply must qualify the entrance test KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test).
- Applicants must have passed class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics) from a recognized university or institute.
- Students must have at least 45% marks in class 12 or equivalent examination.

There are no openings at present for the post of assistant professor in the electrical and electronic department of visvesvaraya technological university , belgaum.
For transportation eng. M.Tech in VTU you need a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/ Transportation Engineering or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch

The campus has a great infrastructure. well maintained and has all the amenities for the students. The campus is spacious, with well-laid-out academic blocks. The buildings are equipped with smart projectors, and the architecture of the campus is great.

College Infrastructure
We have very good labs and infrastructure facilities. We have a physical library as well a virtual library, with a wide range of books available. We have a huge ground, indoor games room, basketball court, and a very good canteen. The food is very good. Campus is neat and hygiene.

College Infrastructure
There are all the necessary facilities in our college campus . All facilities are good, but the food served is not good. The hostel is very good in our college, and the girls' hostel is very secure here. Medical facilities are also available, and some sports and games facilities are available.
