According to last year cutoff of Amrita college of technology Coimbatore if you belong from open quota your rank should be under 2700 and if you belong from state quota your rank should be under 16400. You can also check here

You have a decent rank in Amrita entrance examination. Amrita considered reservation based on only home state and no other category based reservation is considered for admission process. Since for outside state candidate the closing rank was around 8000 as per previous year data. And for home state category candidate for Coimbatore and Bangalore for all braches is as follows:-

 You have chances in few branches based on your rank only if your home state is Tamil Nadu or Karnataka.

First of all, Congratulations for securing such a good rank! 

Secondly, scholarships at Amrita College is only for the top 3 rankers. My friend is studying there, and he had got an all India rank of 12. He said that no scholarship was provided to him. 

But one thing I can say for sure, you will surely get admission in ECE branch.

frnakly you have got a decent score where as under the open category cut off you would not get the CSE and ECE where you would any other branch on your wish where if you fall under the state quota then you would gett any branch of your choice

As per your rank 20533, only if you have a State Quota then you may hope to get a seat in Coimbatore Campus. As per previous year closing ranks were: Aerospace Engineering-19892, Civil Engineering-19971, Chemical Engineering-19678, Electrical & Electronics Engineering-19433 and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering-19822. So you can consider these choices in Coimbatore.
