CSE department has some of the best faculty and most of the courses are a mix of projects with case studies and so the exams reaaly tests your understanding capabilities.Many research labs are also established to ensure research is top notch here at Amrita.

Since you are not a domicile of TN,you might get the ECE course at Coimbatore campus as the previous year statistics ahow that they close around 2000-2500 ranks.

But with the addition of new courses,you might get ECE at Coimbatore.

You will get ECE at any of the other campuses for sure.

I can answer this question with respect to Amrita university Coimbatore.

Concerning only the branch, few faculty members are really good.

Placements are good compared to most other branches. Getting into a core company is slightly difficult. Past two years, people placed in core are less but you would most probably get placed well. 

There are many opportunities in college which can help expand your knowledge and being in Coimbatore in a great advantage. If your really interested in something you'll have to grab the opportunity.

Amrita group of institute coimbatore ia a great college for pursuing ece.Based on reviews this colleges is quite good for doing this course. To get into enginnering field you need to take jee and this college conducts ots own entrance exam which you need to clear out. The total fees of course of engineering in any branch is arounf 10 to 11 lakhs.

Yes you can pretty much get into literally any branh of your choice. That is, seeing the previous year's cutoffs. Which was aproximately 13,000 for cs. You have an advantage over others because you are eligible for the in state quota.

On the basis of previous year trends,you would not be getting any branches in the Coimbatore campus as you are not domicile of TN.

You would get Mech,EEE in the Amritapuri campus as you are a domicile of the state of Kerala.

You would also get the same branches in the Chennai campus via the general quota of seats.

Amrutha group of colleges conduct their own entrance examination for which you havee to apply online, appear for the exam and qualify in it to make it into the college. But students with good JEE nains score can have chance to apply directly and get admission. As per the details from the college management the last date for the application is over and students canno applyt for the admission into the college any more.
