Well amrita coimbatore and all the other branches are facing stiff competition every year as no of candidates applying for amrita are increasing year by year so accordingly cut off ranks are shifting up too, though nothing can be predicted with 100% accuracy since it depends upon current years level of difficulty of aeee , no of candidates applying to cse from state quota to coimbatore campus and in the merit list above you etc etc , keeping these facts in mind cut off rank for amrita cse at coimbatore ranges between 5k-13500 so according to this yes you can get CSE/CSE AI at amrita with the rank you mentioned above also the fact that you have been alloted electrical and computer engg in trial allotment confirms it yet this process remains subjective due to above mentioned reasons.

With home state quota the closing rank for CSE in Amrita University Coimbatore campus went above 10,000 in the previous years. This year's cutoffs are also excepted to be similar. Hence, you have a good amount of chances of getting admission in CSE, based on your rank.

You will easily get the CSE branch there at this much rank of 11548 in aeee. I will suggest you to also apply for the amritapuri campus. If possible go with the ECE branch. You can also apply for other branches there.

This is the first year Amrita is introducing admission via the JEE scores and therefore no past year trends are available.

However you have a very good scare and you may land up with a scholarship to pursue your studies at any campus and with any course.

Hi G Raja, as far information received BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) is a program offered by the school of Engineering. If you go with this course in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth you'll be provided with certain courses in your 1st Semester and so on , courses such as Maths for intelligent systems, Computational Engineering Mechanics, Introduction to Digital manufacturing, Object-Oriented Programming, etc etc. And by Semester VI you will be introduced to AI in Robotics and there after all the subjects will be AI based till semester VII.

The JEE score mode of admission has been introduced from this year only and thus there are no previous year trends available.

However,your JEE percentile is high enough and you may get a scholarship.
