Dear aspirant, you should choose the branch as per your area of interest. If you like CSE, go for it otherwise you can choose bio medical if you have interest in it. Coming to college, NIT Raipur offers great placements. Last year average package was 5.40Lpa and highest package was above 11.30 LPA. It possesses 30% of biology and 70% of electronic and instrumentation. BIT durg offered 12.7 LPA package to 8 students. 100% placement is guaranteed to CSE students and average salary is of 6LPA. Choose accordingly.

Christian College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai has not recorded very good placements during the past years. Placements are there for CS/IT branch students in companies such as Amazon, Capgemini, CMC, CMS Computers Ltd, Flextronics, HCL, HDFC Bank, Indian Army, Infinite, Persistent Ltd., Shriram Group , SYNTEL, TCS, Tech Mahindra and TEGA INDUSTRIES etc. The average package is around 1.3-1.8 LPA, which is not very good.

Talking about BIT Raipur, the placements are again not very good for branches other than CS/IT, average package is not very high( about 3.5 LPA).

BIT Durg has recorded average package of 3-6 LPA However, highest package offered is better here. It is almost equivalent in terms of facilities, also fees is higher than BIT Raipur.

Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai has placements from companies such as Adani Group, Ashok Leyland,  BirlaSoft , Capgemini, CMC, Genpact, HCL, Hexaware Technologies, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Securities, L&T Infotech, Mahindra and Mahindra, Renault Nissan, RetailOn ,Siemens, SONY, Synergy Group, TATA, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Unisys India, XL Dynamics, Yahoo etc. The average package is around 3.2 LPA . So placement is good for CS/IT.

BIT Durg has an overall better reputation among the other colleges and thus gives a comparatively better placement than SSTC.  The chances of you getting placed is way better in BIT Durg. Rest other factors are almost the same in both.

According Placements stats and data Institute of engineering technology Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is quite better compared to Bhilai Institute of technology . Average package is offered is 4.21 Lakhs for B.tech in Institute of engineering and technology whereas coming to Bhilai Institute of technology average package offered students is 3.80 Lakhs for B.tech . Let know some details both colleges

• Both are Public / Government universities .
• Bhilai have good facilities .
• 11 Students rated 4.2 / 5 for Institute of engineering and technology whereas coming to Bhilai Institute of Technology 52 students rated 3.3 / 5 .

Hope you are doing. As per your query both of these colleges are very renowned and good colleges. Chitkara University ranks 75 in All India with great placements. Almost 80-90% students get placed every year. The highest package offered was 31 LPA and more than 500 companies came for campusing. Now coming to Punjab and Bhilai Institute of Technology. They have a great placements and training cell but the college has very decent campusing. The highest package offered was 12.1 LPA and only 70% students was hired.
