B.Tech Civil Engineering

College Infrastructure

Overall infrastructure is well and good .It has air conditioned labs and LED projectors .It also has fully equipped auditorium, well maintained central library spacious basketball court , an excellent seminar hall ,renovated hostels as well as medical support systems.

Academics

I'm studying btech civil engineering. This year the course curriculum is made liberal . The quality of teaching is excellent. There has been a recent updation in curriculum which includes necessary subjects. Time schedule for classes are also quite comfortable.

Placements

Internships & placement internships are done in even semester. Job opportunities are also available. Almost 80%students were placed with an average salary of 1.5 lakhs per year. In certain cases it extended upto 2.00lakhs

Value-for-money

The course costs 1.5 lakhs per year . And it also provides assistance tofinancially backward students. Fee concessions for fisherman community is also provided. Our money is getting worth because of the classes handled by high ranked faculties and other activities.

Campus Life

There are facilities of labs , a well maintained library and staff are also kind . There are excellent sports championships conducted in this college and there are special clubs for monitoring arts and sports. Faculties are supportive. They monitor students carefully for that an advisory system is also implemented.

Anything Else

I felt the campus to be best and it's quite rare to have such caring faculty members as well as awesome management who does everything according to requirements of students

B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering

BJI has a wonderful group of faculty members who are just ready to help .The greatest asset of BJI is the top notch engineering labs .The only disappointing thing is that the management has failed to provide conduct campus placements for the students in the school of engineering . The electronics and Communication engineering department has the best and most vibrant faculty members who are exceptionally good .

bishop jerome is one of the best colleges in the city.it is situated near to the railway station.so we can easily reach to the place.the connectivity to the college is by road and rail.coming to the infrastructure very amazingly constructed campus .it looks very beautiful.the college is best in for discipline which one couldn't find in and around in kollam.the teachers are very helping and friendly.one could seek a very longing career and bright future within the campus.the institute offers a wide variety of professional courses
