OUR COLLEGE IS A DEVELOPING PHASE AND ALL THE ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT ARE INSTALLING AS THE GOVERNMENT HAS DONATED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COLLEGE . WE DO HAVE SMART BOARD IN OUR CLASSROOMS , BUT LEAST USED BY THE PROFESSORS . WE HAVE LIBRARY , INCUBATION CENTER AND NEW HOSTELS ARE IN CONSTRUCTION . THE COMMON PROBLEM IN ALL THE HOSTELS ARE THE WIFI PROBLEM BUT ONLY THE BUILDING IN WHICH WIFI IS AVAILABLE IS IT BUILDING . BUT IN THIS SMALL AMOUNT OF FEES SUCH FACILITIES ARE COMFORTABLE.

I AM PURSUING B.TECH IN MINING ENGINEERING BRANCH IN BIT SINDRI . I AM VERY INTERESTED IN MINING ENGINEERING AS THE COURSE IS A BIT EASY IN COMPARE TO OTHER BRANCH . ALL THE TEACHERS ARE HELPFUL BUT IN ATTENDANCE SECTION , THEY ARE A BIT STRICT . THEY DESCRIBES US ALL THE QUESTIONS WELL AND THE PORTION GOES IN VERY FAST WAY.

FOR A CORE BRANCH CORE COMPANIES COME ARE TAKE THE BRILLIANT STUDENTS. THE COMPANIES SUCH AS VEDANTA , VEDANTU , ADITIYA BIRLA GROUPS AND MANY MORE COMPANIES COMES WITH AVERAGE PACKAGE OF 3-4 LPA AND THE HIGHEST PACKAGE IS OF 7.95 LPA . IF A STUDENT MORE THEN 7 CGPA WITH NO BACKLOGS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MOST OF THE COMPANIES PLACEMENT .

MY BRANCH MINING ENGINEERING COST ME AROUND 50,000 PER YEAR WHICH INCLUDES MESS CHARGE (30,000) , HOSTEL MAINTENANCE CHARGE (5,000), ELECTRICITY CHARGE (2000) . ALL OVER THE CHARGES OF OUR COLLEGE IS VERY LESS IN COMPAIR TO OTHER COLLEGES BECAUSE IN 4 YEAR OUR FEES IS APPROX 2 LAKHS BUT IN OTHER COLLEGES IS WOULD BE 10 - 12 LAKHS . AND I FEEL MY MONEY WORTH HERE.

MY COLLEGE HAAS AN AREA OF 400 ACRES OF LAND. THE LOCATION OF OUR CAMPUS IS NEAR THE EASTERN BANK OF DAMODAR RIVER . OUR CAMPUS IS FULLY RESIDENTIAL AREA BOTH FOR FACULTY ASS WELL AS STUDENTS. SINCE IT A BIG AREA , SO THE HOSTELS{BOYS, GIRLS}, ACADEMIC BUILDINGS , BRANCH BUILDINGS ARE AT SPECIFIC AMOUNT DISTANCE. THE THIS WHICH MAKES OUR COLLEGE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER COLLEGES ARE THAT THE GREENERY OF MY COLLEGE IS SPREAD IN ALL OVER THE COLLEGE CAMPUS . THE AREA IS FULLY SAFE AND SECURED.

Infra is very big with all facilities but maintenance is like average type.Overall Campus provides all facilities except wifi but since fee is very less so it gets balanced. All labs and classrooms are well maintained and very big and clean.

I am pursuing electrical Engineering. The professor's are highly qualified and their teaching sense is very good and according to my expectations. Professor make us ready for future. Infact you can study and prepare for gate coz you get sufficient time here.

Placement is decent, if I consider my branch (electrical Engineering ), the placement is very good .For my branch the avg package is 5 to 6 lacs and the highest package being more than 12 lacs. And other branches also have a good placement if I have to rank branches in terms of placement then I would rank in following order metal=electrical =mechanical >Cse=it>mining>civil>ece>production.

Fee is the most imp factor. I think in comparison to other collage it's very less. Around 14000 per year excluding hostel and mess.

I will prefer this collage. Bcoz it provides all the requirements at an affordable cost and with decent placement .

As far as infrastructure is concerned it can be said it is average. Many new departments such as IT building is the best It consists of many labs including Siemens which is famous & students from ISM Dhanbad also comes to attend the classes. It has high speed WiFi, smart boards Infact Lecture hall also has smart board.

Academics I am a student of Chemical engineering in BIT Sindri. The faculties here are awesome and are highly qualified and have years of experience. As I have noticed our Curriculum is updated one and is in sync with the one at IIT Bombay. And College also arranges competition oriented classes where teachers are from coaching institute at Delhi.

Around 50% of students get placed every year.Renowned companies like Vedanta, Tata steel, wipro, TCS, Aditya Birla, Dalmia and many more companies visits every year and provides good package to students. Placement cell of college works day and night to build the future of those students who are average. But it can be further improved.

First of all. It is one of the cheapest Engineering govt college in India. One have to pay about ₹21000(General students&OBC ) at the time of admission and per semester examination fees is about ₹2000(for all students ) . & one has to renew the admission every year in odd semesters with the amount of about ₹13000.(for general&OBC ) and for other category students it's something half of fees that General students pay.

One of the worst thing in the college is campus life. It really sucks. The one who are in clubs enjoy a bit. But it's simply a monotonous life there you will get frustrated there withs lots of pressure.

BIT SINDRI is one oldest technical institute established in dhanbad. It is established in 1949& here all courses are approved by AICTC. It is affiliated to Jharkhand University of technology.

MY COLLEGE IS THE ONLY GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF JHARKHAND. IT TAKES MINIMUM FEES TO STUDY. THE COLLEGE IS IN DEVELOPING PHASE AND ALL THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENTS ARE INSTALLING AS THE GOVERNMENT HAS DONATED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS PRESTIGIOUS COLLEGE. WE HAVE SMART BOARDS IN CLASSES, A NORMAL LIBRARY, INCUBATION CENTER, MANY HOSTELS ARE CONSTRUCTING BUT THIS COLLEGE HAS NO WiFi EXCEPT IN IT BUILDING. AS WE GIVES FEES WHICH TENDS TO ZERO IN RETURN WE HAVE THESE FACILITIES WHICH IS QUITE IMPRESSIVE.

I AM PURSUING B.TECH IN ELECTRICAL BRANCH IN BIT SINDRI. I HAVE A KEEN INTEREST IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING(MAINLY THE COMPLICATED CIRCUITS, BASIC ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING). ALMOST ALL THE TEACHERS ARE HELPFUL AND PROVIDE PROPER NOTES.I THINK IT WILL MAKE ME JOB READY BECAUSE IT NOT ONLY DEPENDS UPON THE TEACHERS OR THE COLLEGE BUT DEPENDS UPON THE STUDENT BECAUSE WE HAVE 4 YEARS TO MAKE OURSELVES SKILLFUL ENOUGH TO STAND OUT OF THE CROWD.

THE QUALITY OF PLACEMENT HERE IS AVERAGE( NOT SO GOOD). ALMOST 40-50% STUDENT GETS PLACED GOOD CORE COMPANIES COME HERE FOR RECRUITMENT LIKE TATA STEEL, ADITIYA BIRLA GROUP, VEDANTA, TCS(FOR BOTH CORE AND NON-CORE BRANCHES). HIGHEST PACKAGE IS 10-12 LPA AND AVERAGE IS 4-5LPA. BRANCHES LIKE MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL,CHEMICAL,MINING, METALLARGY GETS THE HIGHEST PACKAGE.ALMOST EVERY CSE STUDENTS GETS PLACED IN TCS. IF YOUR CGPA IS ABOVE 7 AND NO BACKLOGS THEN YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MOST OF THE COMPANIES

IT IS AN OPEN CAMPUS.THE INSTITUTE CAMPUS SPREADS OVER AN AREA OF 400 ACRES OF LAND, LOCATED NEAR THE EASTERN BANK OF DAMODAR RIVER. IT CAN HANDLE EMERGENCIES BUT AS IT DOES NOT HAVE HOSPITAL IN THE CAMPUS BUT HAVE A DOCTOR IN THE CAMPUS

Our college has different buildings for the respective departments . The laboratories are well - equipped with the required machines . The campus has installed wifi . Mess food is hygienic . We have a clean and green campus !

I am studying Chemical Engineering and the research and development sector if this branch interests me . Top faculties help students better understand this subject with its present ongoing development in the respective sectors .

Placements are improving each year . The highest package that offered was of 11lpa . Every time the number of companies visiting our college , is increasing as per the demand of new freshers is elevating .

An approx. amount of Rs. 50000 is being spent per yr and I am getting worth of it . In a very little sum , quality based education is provided to all the students and we are enjoying it . The life we get here is worth the money .

College life includes all the fests . Three annual fests namely - Tech fest , Culturual fest and sports . Participation in the respective ones is fun and leads to all round development of a student making them ready to face the professional world . Different clubs are there which provide a platform to their members to build leadership qualities and also the non - clubiis can showcase their talent by participating in the respective events of the different clubs .

After renovation of buildings, infrastructure has improved a lot. Several new hostels are still uder construction. Probably they will start from 2k20 batch. But college doesn't provide wifi to access it you have to buy your own wifi setups along with roomates

Quality of teaching is avg. You are not going to get curriculum like IITs but definitely you are going to get ample of time to prepare for any competitive exam. Moreover you can access everything on YouTube .

Placement scenario is good, better than many private college . Some of the branchs like metallurgy have 100℅ placement. But the highest ctc is 11lpa , which require improvement. This year highest package is offered by honda 10.12lpa.

Here you are going to invest very less on college fee, as compared to many other college, in fact 3lks is sufficient for 4 years, which include everything from hostel fee to mess fee

College is situated in the outskirts of dhanbad approx 20 km from dhanbad so to visit any mall or to watch movies you have to go to dhanbad.

College infrastructure is improving day by day.Currently construction of new hostels is going on.Recently smart boards are installed in classroom.It contains huge area around 450acres,having gym,clubground,separate branch buildings,canteen ,bank,post office ,separate hostels for boys and girls ,central library and many more.

Faculties are well experienced and also new faculties from IITs are recruited in past year.Here you can get pretty good environment for GATE.Mining is the only NBA accredited branch in our college.Latest method of teaching is used in our college i.e.smartboard and also they provide us PPTs for better understanding of the topic.

Placement scenario is not pretty good but 60% of the students get placed with average placements of 4.8lpa. The highest packages offered by Honda R&D is 10.12lpa. Here also few students get PPO from TATA steel of 10.11lpa.The lowest package offered is 3.33lpa by TCS.Placement process is pretty much easy and student friendly.

The best part of this college is Return to Investment.The overall cost for whole course is 2.5lac(including hostel and mess fees) which is cheaper than IITs and NITs. Here if you get placement than it more 100% return to your investment. Another thing is that BIT is brand in itself as it is first engineering college of independent India so the degree you get here is more valuable and it has large alumni network all over world.

The campus life is average. There is no night canteen available and campus is not properly closed.It is 28km far from dhanbad but best part is that there is local train running from sindri to dhanbad station. You can get necessary things from Main gate as well as from Kandra and Sehrpur which is 2km from campus. Overall it is good but hostel entry timing for girls is 7:30pm.

Overall it is goood in every sense.The best part is that it is worth for your money and the worst is night canteen is not available.Hope that this review is helpful for you.

The infrastructure is quite good its have all the basic facilities a student need so that he can make most out of the place. Labs are not maintained properly but the basic equipment are present to carry on the experiments.

The curriculum is GATE based but some of the topics vary. Teachers are cooperative with the students and most of them are intrative. Every year the syllabus is update based on the guidelines of AICTE.

Current placement stats are placed 318, Highest-10. 2 lac (Honda), Average -4.8 lpa. Students as well as teachers are working round the clock to improve the placement stats. We have a furm alumni base which helps us a lot.

Only thing i would like to say that its cheapest after jadavpur

The infrastructure is not very glossy but has all the necessaries maintained. A lot of money is being put up in renovations. Hostels don't have wifi though. Living spaces are clean. We do have smart board in our class.

I am a first year student studying Mechanical engineering. We have a lot of big workshops dedicated to mechanical department. I believe among all the other branches mechanical's infrastructure is the best.

This year 318 got placed, Highest package offered was 10.12 lakhs per annum by Honda r&d. On an Average - 4.8lpa. Companies that visit are tata steel, Vedanta, jsw, tcs ninja, ZS, AQ, tata power, L&T, ABG, Adani, etc.

This is the best college if you consider value for money. You spend less than your High school fees. Great isn't it.

Wifi is not available and the lab needs maintenance and new equipments. Campus is clean. The food provided in the canteen Is hygienic. The library is of 2 floors with almost all the course books available.

Faculty is good. Currently I am studying chemical engineering and i am in my first year. The syllabus we follow is under jharkhand university of technology which pretty much covers all the required part we need know in our first year.

Avg package ranges from 3-4 lacs. The highest package last year was 12 lacs. The average placement is around 50-60 percent it varies with branch. Some branch likes metallurgy has 100 percent placement.

Yes because semester fees is very less for girls it is thirty two rupees only. Yes total fees we are going to pay for the entire four ears ranges from 1.5 lacs to two lacs. So the money is worth it.

There are numerous activities you can be a part. There are almost 16 different types of clubs starting form technical, cultural, management etc.
