Wifi is not available and the lab needs maintenance and new equipments. Campus is clean. The food provided in the canteen Is hygienic. The library is of 2 floors with almost all the course books available.
Faculty is good. Currently I am studying chemical engineering and i am in my first year. The syllabus we follow is under jharkhand university of technology which pretty much covers all the required part we need know in our first year.
Avg package ranges from 3-4 lacs. The highest package last year was 12 lacs. The average placement is around 50-60 percent it varies with branch. Some branch likes metallurgy has 100 percent placement.
Yes because semester fees is very less for girls it is thirty two rupees only. Yes total fees we are going to pay for the entire four ears ranges from 1.5 lacs to two lacs. So the money is worth it.
There are numerous activities you can be a part. There are almost 16 different types of clubs starting form technical, cultural, management etc.
College infrastructure is average but nowadays it is improving a lot..but the space inside it's campus is very big and also the scenario inside the college is good and the environment inside the college is neat and clean..
Academics of this college is good and some of the teachers are also very friendly and helpful.. And nowadays the academic of the college is also improving at a great level..... overall the academic is good....
The placement of the college is also fine.....and the best branch in terms of placement in this college is metallurgy. And others branches also have placement.... overall the placement of this college is fine...
The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus and also for the hostel students. Medical facilities are present. The college has a huge sports ground with basketball and volleyball courts. The college also conducts an inter-branch sports tournament. Labs are well-equipped with instruments and are well spacious. Classrooms are large and have projectors. Quality of food served in the canteen is very good. Hostel rooms are spacious and airy.
The college conducts extracurricular activities like an inter-branch sports competition, technical fest, cultural fest, quiz competition, painting, photography, story writing, etc., which enhance the skills of students. The campus is lush green and has a very pleasant environment.
Placements in our college are good and are increasing each year. Almost 60% of the students got placed. More than 90% placements were achieved by the metallurgical branch. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA this year, by Honda R&D. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA by TCS, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.33 LPA. Companies like Honda R&D, TCS, TCS Codevita, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Vedanta, L&T, Hindalco, Aakash Institute, etc., visited our campus.
Overall it's a great college with value for money. The overall remark about the college is that, it's pretty good, management is although average. Location of the college is not in urban region, and it creates problem, but overall it's good.
Events organised are very useful, like industrial problem solving, quiz competition, photography, painting and other competitions. Technical and cultural fests are organised to enhance various skills. This college is 25 km away from Dhanbad railway station, and local trains run from Dhanbad to Sindri station which is near to the college campus. The campus is lush green and has fresh air. It has a gym and a central library with a huge collection of books.
Overall it's a great college with value for money. The overall remark about the college is that, it's pretty good, management is although average. Location of the college is not in urban region, and it creates problem, but overall it's good.
The college is well equipped with all the equipments especially the mechanical engineering branch. The infrastructure has been drastically made better and new facilities in classroom and labs has been introduced like smart classes etc. Evertis maintained well by the administration but wifi connection is still unavailable but is being tried to be incorporated soon. The living spaces like the food in hostel and the hostel and washrooms are hygienic enough to be used.
Mechanical engineering is the best branch of engineering you can get in B.I.T Sindri. Even all the top rankers opt for it here. The professors here are very knowledgeable and new professors who have completed their studies from reputed IITs and NITs are being recruited. The syllabus was revised last year when the institute shifted from VBU to JUT and is good enough in power with the syllabus of IITs which make the students here job and future ready.
The scenario for placement is increasing day by day and more and more students are well placed at some of the most reputed companies of India. In our college about 60% students were placed last year with highest package of 10.11 lakh per annum offered by Tata steel as PPO offered to Mechanical and electrical engineering students. The average package is about 4 lakh per annum. The college is quite supportive for internship and placements.
The best part of this institute is return on investment. The annual fees for the institute is 30K including fooding and longing. This is very less and the certificate provided here is a government Institute's so has brand value of itself. Money is worth here because we get much more than what we pay for.
The best paet of our campus is its 450 acres of land and freedom. Ragging has already taken a void here so no need to worry about it and the seniors are really very supportive more than an elder brother does. The only thing campus needs is maintainability of the area. Students can readily engage themselves in anything, good or bad, depends on the student. The proffesors are very helpful if you approach them. The location is a bit interior and unsafe so most shops get closed by 11 pm.
Yes my college do have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. My classroom is very well ventilated and very spacious with capacity of more than 80 students. My department is having various labs including electrical machine lab, power system lab, etc. Siemens lab is there which gives certified training of PLC ,SCADA,etc. There is a big sport ground having basketball court, football court , gym and many more . The environment is very clean and green. Mess food is very hygienic.
My stream is Electrical engineering and it was my personal interest. The faculty are highly qualified and have years of experience. Yes my curriculum is updated and I believe that after my completion of B.tech I will be ready for doing job in my sector.
It is having good placement record in past and in present as well. 60% student placed last year . Highest package was 10.11 LAC in Electrical with an average of 8 LPA . TAP cell of my college work day and night to build future of those students who are below average.
It is one of the cheapest engineering college in India. Annual expenditure is less than 60 thousand which includes tution , examination, mess , hostel fee , etc.
Memories one will build in this college is unique in its own way . Seniors are very much supportive. Brotherhood is there in every corner of the college. Professor's are co-operative, canteen memories are the best memory.
May be one will think it is just an ordinary college under state government. But let me make this clear through the statement of our founder, respected D.L. Deshpandey : "BITians are second to none ".
It has good infrastructure with labs, workshop, lecture hall, different branches have their different buildings. This time classrooms have a digital board too for learning. Computer labs are Wi-Fi enabled. College maintains hygiene very well. Hostels are also good.
Teaching quality is an average like other engineering colleges, but our professors and staffs are so cooperative with us. Our course curriculum is updated as per JUT. Theirs lots of things in 1st year .
Placement records are good. I recommend to go to the www.bitsindri.ac.in for placement records. Some student got upto 12 lacks packages or more ( in other cases). You have to do some extra efforts for better placement like improve your english skills and soft skills too.
Value for money engineering college. Less fee with productive engineers. Here we got an opportunity to explore ourselves. We live with many intelligent minds, what we need just to find that.
Hostelmates, branchmates, roommates, seniors their lots of pupils. We live this entire 4 years with them. Some problems comes but we have their solutions too.
I m love in it. For more details, we update later. Each year.
College infrastructure is not that good but efforts are being made for the improvement. New hostelsare being constructed, library maintainence is being taken care of, smartboards are being placed in classrooms Provisions are being taken to improve facilities to suit the needs in each and every department.
Academics in this college is good and teachers are supportive . There have been updates in curriculum and recent development in the field are taken care of. Students have the provisions to improve themselves in academics.
The placement quality was not much appreciable in the past years but there have been gradual changes and the placement scenario is improving. The college is supportive and are doing their best to improve the placement scenario.
The college is good in terms of expenses for the course. The charges are minimal as compared to the other colleges in India .Its even lesser for the girls and fee waivers facilities are available for economically weaker sections.
Campus life is good. The hostels have adequate facilities for the students.Various activities are organised to keep students active. The campus is green but requires a bit of maintenance. It is safe gor students.
The infrastructure of the college is not so good. The department buildings are not up to that level, the maintenance of the campus and buildings are neglected, but any one can live there, i.e, it is fit for living. The class room are not smart classrooms, the are traditional classrooms, the IT department building is although advanced, with wi-fi and some of the classes also have projectors. The buildings are not hygienic up to remarkable level.
The academics of the college is good, classes are regular, but it is branch dependent, some of the branches(like CSE and IT) have regular classes, but some other branches(like Mechanical and Civil) does not have regular classes. The curriculum is not updated to modern worlds, there is traditional syllabus of around 5-10 years back. The teaching is good but the placement stats shows that it does not make the students job ready.
The placements of the college is not so good but it is also not so bad. Out of about 700 students, 318 are placed. The maximum package was 10.12 lpa(in mechanical engineering branch), offered by Honda r&d and the average package of the college was 4.8 lpa.
Despite of all the scenarios, the college is excellent in terms of value for money. You will have to pay around 2.2 lakhs to 2.5 lakhs to complete your B.Tech in any branch(including hostel fee), and which is minimal. For girls, the college fee is only 32 rupees per year, which is excellent.
The campus life is very poor. There is nothing in the campus to hangout, not even a single restaurant. The only thing in the campus is a canteen. There is only one club ground, in which all sports activities like cricket, football, volleyball and all the other activities happens. The teachers and staffs are not helpful, the quarters of the teachers are near the boys hostel, it is not far away. The college can't handle emergencies, it does not have hospital and medical store inside the campus.
Overall if we ignore some of the points, the college is good, but it needs a lot of improvement. The college needs to maintain its pace with the modern world.
College infrastructure is quite good but it needs improvement. In the last few years college has seen infrastructure improvement at a rapid pace.Wi-fi is still not there, but the work on it is going on.Smart boards are installed in all the classes.Hostels are clean and food is also hygenic.Sports infrastructure needs development.
I am a student of Electronics and Communication engineering.Professors are quite good in their fields but you have to work hard and self study is must. Curriculum is updated and it is in line with the recent developments in the industry.
Placements have improved in the last few years but it needs more improvement as still it is not upto the level of other national level engineering colleges.Placement data can viewed on the official site of the college. But some data i can give here placements stats-318,Highest package- 10.12 lac,Avergae-5 lac
I think BIT Sindri is the one of the best college on the basis of return on investment.College fees is not more than 15k/year excluding mess charges.
Campus life is blast but there are few issues like you cannot experience the night life in the college. There are many technical and cultural clubs in the college which you can join. Cultural and technical activities are conducted whole year.Support staff are not that much supportive.Campus is situated at a safe location outside the city but recreation facilities are limited.
Being government college the infrastructure is quite good . Department are enable of wifi .the provision of wi fi all over is under process.class room are very good ,and the labs are also fine .the college includes different workshop likes foundry, siemens labs ,fluid mechanics, ,hydraulic machine etc. All classroom are smart class and well suited for educational environment.
I'm student of btech in chemical engineering . The quality of teaching facilities is good in their respective field . The curriculum are upto date we are also offered many extra curricular activities which many help us to build up a practical knowledge about it .
Placement in our college are good and increasing each year. The highest salary package offered was 12 lacs ,while the lowest salary package offered was 3 lacs.some of the recruiting companies for our colleges are vedanta,L&T, TATA steel ,aditya birla ,jindal steel etc. The training and placement cell of this college is very efficient and useful.the student in the cell contact different companies and invite them to college.
As an government college ,the fee is very less .the total expenditures is almost 3-4 lacs
The campus is huge and is very scenic ,college is almost cover 450 acres of land surrounded by greenery and having a good environment all over the college. It also includes hostel and mess facilities . There are many clubs that you can join as per your interests.
College are getting better as it needs some time . But as compared previous days many thing are changing whether it is comes to infrastructure, placement ,environment around the college .
