BIT Sindri Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

BIT is improving it's infrastructure continuously . Classroom reminds our schooldays. Lab equipments are too old . Library has whole lot of books you may need in your college life. No wifi facilities, smart boards are hardly used. Sweeper will regularly clean your living space for free , but food is too oily .

I'm an electrical engineering student, as I have always been eager to know about all electrical gadgets . The curriculum is quite theoretical but, faculty members are highly knowledgeable who tends to keep us updated. If you are keen to know, professors will greatly assist you.

Average Placement package here is around 2.5 to 3 lakhs and it was 10 lakh at the high end. Electrical batch is at the top in terms of placement. Other branches like mining, metallurgy also have good records in placement. But, Production, CSE,IT have poor record in this. The placement graph is improving with time and placement cell also works hard to get its students placed.

The college charges ₹32 for a girls, sc,st and OBC candidates And around ₹ 7500 for boys(general) for academics which is quite impressive. You may also apply for scholarships if needed. Mess fee is ₹100 per day .

Campus is very large having 2 sports playgrounds over there. Various clubs and societies have emerged like coding club, arts club, painting wing, ECO Club , sports club and more which can ingage you in my activities throughout the year. The college location is rural where it takes almost one and a half hour to reach the main city ( Dhanbad) . No better medical facilities are available even in emergency.

If you get this college, you should join it as b. Tech at such a low fee is quite rare and that too from a renowned college.

Yes my college have adequate equipments but there is lot more required. food quality is very good, mess is available and staffs are hygenic. The equipments needed to handle very carefully and frequently because some of them have stopped working.

Metallurgical engineering because I've always been interested in this field. curriculum is devloped at many extent but updates needed. I've always been interested the operation behind the steel industries .

Placement quality is very good. Return on investment is brilliant. In the batch of 2019 placements was 100 percent in Metallurgical engineering. Opportunities are very high. TCS ,Wipro etc are software companies which came to campus for providing opportunities and in core field ABG , TATA steel and JSL are reqruiters.

College is equipped with all the infrastructure needed containing modern facility labs established by siemens for robotics, automation and different courses for various branches.Hostels are in very good condition. Classes are equipped with smart board for fluid way of study. Living spaces are well maintained and hygienic.

I am studying electrical engineering. Quality of teaching is very good. Professors are very interactive. Curriculum consists of use of programming language which is new in this field. Curriculum is vast and regularly asked in several job interviews. Still it requires a little scope of improvement

Placements in the college are good.Companies like Vedanta, Jsw, Tata steel, Tata Power, Hindustan Unilever are some of the companies which are regularly coming in the college. College is very supportive during placements. Average salary may be considered to 5-6 lpa. Further college is helpful to students and helps them to prepare for competitive examination like GATE, CAT and developing communication skills for interviews.

Bit, Sindri is one of the best college for value for money as the cost per year is very low. It is less than 2.5 lakhs for 8 sems.

It is one of the best and oldest college of East India. Established in 1949 makes it one of the first engineering colleges in India. The alumni network is wide and well settled.Teachers are very good. It is located in outskirts of Dhanbad hence some facilities are not available immediately but transportation is good hence it is accessible but takes time from Main city of Dhanbad. Students are friendly seniors are very interactive.

One of the finest college for value for money in India.

The College has got every necessary equipments and facilities but many are outdated. Classrooms are very good and hygiene is maintained. Smart boards are available in every classroom. But wifi connectivity isn't there everywhere. Sanitation and hygiene is maintained.

The studies and curriculum is ok if compared on all India basis. The teaching faculty is good and has a good lot of experience. You need to be updated with the world despite being in any college of India. Job-ready, indeed it is enough but for excellence and an extra edge you need to groom yourself according to the demands of the market.

Placement has been here average. An average of 4 lakh pa is easily achievable here if you have the simple idea of the curriculum and have a good CV. Around 70% of the students get campus placement and the here core branches have got a decent average.

Yes the College is value for money. The cost is very low as compared to NITs and IITs since here we have equivalent teaching status as in NITs. There are ample scholarships for the needy and girls have the minimum tution fee.

Yes, you will surely enjoy the campus life. Initially it is a strange and odd but eventually it becomes a great place. The college is not in main town. But yes the fests attract many other college students as well for competition.

The college was established in 1949 and since then it has seen many ups and downs. It has a good alumini connect and it is under a rapid development phase and is striving to get better. If you are a learning enthusiastic then this place will be good for you despite some of the shortcomings.

This college has a good infrastructure. With separate buildings for all departments, well-equipped laboratories. There are two sports ground. Smart boards have been installed in a few classes. The hostels are kept well maintained.

The teachers here are quite knowledgeable and friendly. They look up into matters brought forward by students. The entire staff is very supportive. The regular test and class tests are conducted to check the progress of students.

The placement is good to average ranging for different branches. The highest package this year was 11 lacs bagged by a mechanical undergrad. The TAP cell, and the professor in-charge is very supportive.

50000/ year

Yeah the infrastructures are good as we have seperate building for all departments and have quality lab facilities equipped with new machines and instruments. Unfortunately we don't have WiFi installed right now but very soon it is going to be installed as work is in progress.

Currently i am pursuing BTech degree and I can say that few professors are really good with there great teaching methodology. The classes are regular with proper academic evaluation. The courses are quite industrial friendly.

Placement is average but it is gradually increasing year by year. Many good companies visit our college like TATA Steel, Vedanta Hindalco TCS, Jindal group and many others. The average package is nearly 4- 4.5 LPA.

This college is one of the few colleges which is offering an engineering degree in such a low fees. The total cost of four year is nearly 3 Lakh including tuition fees , hostel and mess charges.

The location is in the outskirt having beautiful environment and campus full of greenery. Unfortunately there is no marketing complex or malls like thing nearby college. But we are blessed with few restaurants near by it.

Since the college is located in rural area, that's why we face issues regarding internet otherwise the quality of food education and infrastructure is highly commendable.classrooms need to be taken care of by the management..since the college is under a control of Jharkhand sarkar that's why it faces such issue.

Our college majorly focuses on gate exam, since I'm from civil engineering branch so there has been a full fledged support for me in particular but as a whole I need to think twice because placements are overwhelming these days.

Specific branches do holds good placement but core branches face some lumps and bumbs at time of placements.from last 2 years students are facing lack in job opportunities it's not because of the there studies bt present inbuilt scenario is not in our side.

Money, for me it was merely a magnet that attracted me in a person..... it's a very good college to complete your graduation at such a minimal rate various underprivileged section make lots n lots out of it.

Bestest place on earth for me till now...yes we live with full safety and people around college are very supportive.

Heaven

All the infrastructure which are required in any engineering college are present in our college. There are labs ,football ground ,an excellent lab and many other things.the new IT has world class lab.we have good lecture hall like c-51 .

My branch is chemical.I have a deep interest in Chemical industries and want to help my country in enhancing the technology related to these industries. Our institute had included a all new curriculum which is updated as per the present requirement of industries.

Placements is good in our college.big companies like reliance, jsw, vedanta,TCS etc are visiting our campus and give jobs to the student.the highest package offered is 10 lakhs .average package is 5 lakhs.

The per year cost is less than 30000 .I thinl I have invested in right college.

Our campus has many wonderful places.there are many clubs in our college which engage the student in different college activities.

Infrastructre has improved much during last two years, labs filled with necesarry equipments, classroom are good. Hostel building is much better than most NIT. There is no spot to roam or sit in the evening as you see in many colleges but New IT Park will be finished by 2021 and its awesome.

Well trained professors with one of the best teacher in Mining department in World Mr U.K Dey and department is much supportive towards students. Our Curriculum is same as that of IIT Kanpur for my batch, So we are updated in terms of syllabus.

Placement is about 50 % and only studious students got placement. No mass recruitment company comes in the college and average placement is about 4.5 lakhs according to last year data. This year almost all students of CS - IT department got placed, so the scenario is getting better day by day.

You will not regret coming in college, Return of investment is more than any other colleges in India if you got placed. Fee is minimum and you don't have to take loans for your B.Tech studies that's for sure.

There is almost no campus life but yeah you will enjoy your hostel stay its worth living in Hostel.Once in a year you will have a Cultural fest and apart from that there are small events always taking place during the entire session, only club members enjoy so called "Campus Life" .

I Suggest if you don't get any government colleges in India and you are looking to complete your engineering from a goverment college only then it's a better option than any bad private colleges in India and also you can save your family's money. But also if you have money and You get private colleges like KIIT, VIT , THAPAR,BITS Pilani( almost IIT) any branch, then I suggest you should go to these options only if you don't care about money.

Yes our college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment .. classroom is fully high-tech, laboratories is good ,smart board is used in all classroom.. Living space is kept clean ..

Quality of teaching is average and I am studying about mining ..if you are talented then you can get a job ..other options is not available because company needs talented people ..in this college only mining branch is NBA affiliated so it is good for mining engineerings

Placement is quite good. In my branch placement is good about 50 percent of eligible candidates is placed in mining companies like vedanta,Adani,Acc etc and other branches like cse is good in placement

Value for money , this College is too good, if we are looking College this college is totally value for money because fees is quite good for all students

Campus Life is full of happiness , students teachers and support staff is supportive hard work for needy

Wifi, I want stadium like structure for play ground
