BITS Hyderabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The university provides separate hostels for boys. The college has six well-equipped boys hostels. The hostels ensure comfortable living of the students by providing them all the modern amenities such as table, chair, fan, cupboard, cot etc. The hostel has a common room with TV for recreational purposes.

The college provides two well-equipped girls hostels. The hostels provide all the modern facilities and amenities to its students. The hostels guarantee that students have a comfortable stay by offering them modern amenities such as a table, chair, fan, cupboard, cot, and so on. For entertainment, the hostel provides a common area with a TV. The hostel is covered with CCTV cameras at various places for safety and security purposes. 24*7 security is also provided by security guards stationed at the entrance of the hostel.

The campus has a medical centre which provides first aid for the emergency purposes of teachers and students. The medical centre has two male doctors along with a compounder cum lab technician and a sister residing on campus.

The library of the institute has a wide collection of books, magazines, national and international journals. The library subscribes to various Indian and foreign periodicals and has access to a variety of e journals. The library also subscribes to 24*7 ebooks databases for the benefit of the faculty and the students.

The college has a well-equipped sportsground for cricket, football, volleyball, hockey and badminton. An indoor games room is also available on campus where students can play table tennis, carrom, chess, billiards etc.

The campus also has good Wi-Fi connectivity. The computer centre of the institute is well-equipped with a large number of computer systems and latest softwares for the practical learning purposes of the students.

The institute has well-equipped canteens which serve healthy and hygienic food to its students at subsidised rates.

The campus has a well-equipped auditorium which is used for a variety of purposes such as guest lecture sessions, live speaker sessions, cultural programmes and many more.

The college has the transport facility for students and staff.

We are proud to announce the creation of a nodal Division of Alumini Affairs. This will be/is accompanied by establishment of a dedicated Cell at each campus. The Division will set the overall Direction and Framework in relation to all Alumni activities. The Campus Cells will work to this direction and framework and continue to organize events such as Alumni Batch visits, and Graduation batch activities. The Division will seek to connect and engage students, alumni friends and well-wishers in a life long relationship with BITS Pilani. It will focus on development of Alumni support to the continuing development of the Institute's Academics, research and off campus programs, expansion and renewal of its facilities and providing scholarship and financial aid to students through annual fundraising campaigns.This will create opportunities for alumni and friends of the institute to give their time,talent and treasure to enhance the vitality and reputation of BITS Pilani.

The institute has an advanced research laboratory for pharmacy, chemistry and biology.

The institute has a well-equipped gym with modern equipment such as dumbbells, treadmill and cardiovascular machines for the benefit of the students. The gym is separate for both boys and girls with a capacity of 70-80 students.
