My rank in kcet is 2860 and comedk rank is 5700.So with this rank can i get admission into mechanical engineering in bms collage.

Hi, its a littlew difficult to get Mechanical at your rank in BMS College as last year it closed at 4.5k comedk rank, however you can get other branches like Biotech, chemical, civil etc easily. You can check out more here:

You cannot get BMS COE unfortunately as cutoffs below 25000 ranks.

Your brother's rank in COMEDK UGET 2018 is not that much to fetch him BMS College of engineering with branches like CSE or ECE or ISE.

His rank is a bit low but he can try for other top colleges like BMSIT,DSCE,ACHARYA,etc.

I got 1113 in kcet my category general may I get csin bmsce

Hello Swathi,

there is a small possibility that u might get a seat in CS of BMSCE but defenately not in the first initial rounds.U have to attend all the rounds of option entry including the casual round where u might be getting a chance if somebody has forfeited their seat.

College Infrastructure

The campus is spread around 11 acres which include college of engineering, architecture and law. Campus area is a bit small but the buildings are well maintained especially the PJ Block. The classes are well equipped with tech and can accomodate a good amount of crowd

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is really good. The new building, called the Platinum Jubilee Block, is well maintained with fully equipped computer labs, classrooms that are big enough with smartboard facilities and the lighting and ventilation are also good. The library is good with a wide range of books and resources. Hostels are decent; they can do better with the management, as there are not enough rooms to accommodate people. The mess is quite hygienic but the food is very average. The hostelites have separate ground near the mess for games and sports.

College Infrastructure

Everything like labs, computer lab, library, classrooms, and Wi-Fi is great but the campus is small. The hostel is very expensive around Rs. 2.3 LPA, so students try to stay in PGs and many PGs are nearby. Canteen, sports, and games facilities are good. We also have a gym, indoor stadium, etc.
