Actually its very good. 

19.7lacs was the package given out. Highest ever.

Avg package is around 7-6lacs which is great.

Even Cse guys were able to take up to 16 lacs only,Which is obviously less than ECE. 

BMSIT is great in terms of placement.

BNMIT is a reputed college in Bangalore.

The placements in general have been pretty decent and I must say that CSE and ISE are the branches that are most sought after. ECE comes next. The number of core companies that visit BNMIT is less. This is true in case of most of the colleges in Bangalore. However, the placement cell ensures that all the eligible students get the required opportunities through on campus, off campus and pool campus events.

There are quite a few guys from BNMIT at Nokia and other top companies. Feel free to reach out to alumni. Most of them will be willing to help you get a job.

Hostel is the first step of your independent life. This is the first place most of us go to, after leaving home. We have to do a number of work by ourselves for the first time, like taking care of belongings, being punctual for classes ( which most of us never are), maintaining attendance (which most of us struggle to), spending money effectively (eyes rolling), and most importantly, calling home daily. We would all agree when someone said that college life is a definite step up in fun compared to when we were in school. But if you stay in your college's hostel, then that fun gets multiplied by a factor of 10! From collective hating the mess food to late night sneak outs. So here are some things which all hostelites experience.

FIRST THING MAKING NEW FRIEND

apart from your branch you will find all type of people in hostel like funny serious and best part is if there is any problem with you everybody come for you rescue you can make new friends

MESS FOOD

For us  getting a good food is like winning IPL trophy for rcb . they totally deserves it, but never gets one. However we always manage to get that extra pinch of dessert for free, it may involve stealing from friend or bribing the worker

MOVIE

when I came here I only know one language but after meeting every student from the different part of the india first thing we done is watching movie of their language it was great experience and learning that language

CRICKET

one of the favorite  thing in hostel life each four six and wickets there will be a huge happy cheering sounds and security always come and shout at us to slow down the noise but as a fan we will make TV room as stadium If IPL is their don't ask their is always fight between favorite

INTERNET

no we cant live without internet here we can compromise the food,water and electricity issue if the net is slow then all hostelite went crazy and their is a war between student and warden

TV SHOWS

if you are a hostelite then your hard disk is always full with new tv shows believe me watching FRIENDS,GOT,HIMYM,HOUSE OF CARDS,SUITES,BREAKING BAD its a great fun with friends till 10pm to 4am

NIGHT STUDY AND GROUP STUDY

one night before exam its a whole pack of entertainment because you can study whole semester syllabus in one night and if their is teacher who teach you whole syllabus then its a worth remembering moment

surely you will have fun in bmsit boys hostel

Hostel life sure is lot of fun. While we are escaping the hawk eyes of authorities and helping each other out, we never realise how much we learnt about life. There will be days when you wonder "when will I get out of this jail". But there will be moments in life later, when you will think, "Damn didn't we do that in hostel?" This is because you will know how much you enjoyed your hostel life and that you will always remember it.

The BMS Institute Of Technology is ranked at 157th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India For Engineering. It is also rated as AAA+ by Careers360 in terms of all aspects. The tution fee at the BMSIT is around 53,640/- per year. The hostel facilty is provided to both boys and girls. The food is great. There is a seperate dining hall for food. The hostel fee is around 75,000/- per year. The top companies that visit this college are: Amazon, Bosch, Honeywell, Directi, Endurance, etc. The highest pay package is 20 lakhs per annum and the average pay package is 4 lakhs per annum. RV Institute of Technology 

Placements : Placements in R V COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING is actually very good because it comes in top engineering institutions of Karnataka, Average package is around 8 Lacs per annum and the highest for this year was around 42 Lacs per annum, The percentage of students getting internships is also high.

Infrastructure : The campus is pretty old but still maintained beautiful and clean, The labs are clean and having Air conditioners the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, There are projectors in every classroom, The library is bit old by infrastructure and there is a medical centre in the hospital itself where they check for free of cost and there are many sports facilities in the campus.

Faculty : There are many teachers in rv college of engineering and it all depends on the teacher who teaches, few of them might have just started the engineering teaching and few of them have excelled in teaching engineering students, so I would tell it's a mixed opinion. we do get industry exposure in higher year

BMS Institute of Technology 

Placements : Placements in this college are pretty good compared to other colleges as it is the sister branch of main BMSCE college. The average salary package offered ranged between 6 to 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was around 4 LPA and the highest salary package went up to 27 LPA. CSE and ISE departments are the best for placements.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is pretty good. The college is known for its greenery and has more than 10,000 species of trees on campus. The college has fantastic labs and research labs. Classrooms are spacious and proper ventilated. It is also good for sports like basketball, badminton, volleyball, football etc.

Faculty : All teachers in the college are either PhD or postgraduate with good knowledge and years of teaching experience. They provide us with notes, and we are free to ask our doubts. Project-based learning is also involved, and we have to prepare for innovative and case study concepts and questions.

If you want to get the CSE branch at best then you will have to score around 130-135 marks from the general category. I will suggest you to score as much as you can because your chances of getting the CSE branch will become high and you can also get a top college there.

Bmsit has got excellent placement.the pupil who are eligible for placement do get placed with a good package. More than 30 companies visit our college and get students into their companies.the college also provides placement training activities which focuses and teaches on how to attend placements and how to behave.
The placements scenario has been increasing since 2015. The total percentage of the students getting placed is seventy to seventy five percent. The companies that visit our college is ABB, BOSCH, Dell, Honey Well, Reliance, Cognizant etc

Dear candidate..... hope you're doing good..

Well, basing upon your rank, it seems difficult for you to get ECE in nmit in the second round of counseling as per the previous year trends and remarks. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high. And you may also get some other upgradation if possible in the successive rounds of counselling.
