You can get placed as they try to place each and every students from their side.

If your performance is average also i.e 6 or 7 cgpa then also you can get placed in any Mass Companies like Infosys, TCS. Just avoid getting Back logs.

There is a dedicated Placement Cell open to the Students to gather information at all times. There is opportunity for Counselling the Students to decide in which field could they best succeed. If we go through the placements record top recruiter's companies are Mahindra Group ,IBM ,Infosys ,TCS, Capgemini ,Cognizant , L&T Technology ,wipro and many more companies visit every  year with minimum package of 3.5 lpa.

The CS engineering programme usually deals with how to build micro processors, how to write a compiler etc. IT is the business side of computers - usually dealing with databases, business, and accounting. One way to think of it is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes and CSE deals with the “science” that facilitates these applications.

Further, while CSE focuses on the foundation of computing, IT as a discipline focuses on satisfying the computing technology needs of organisations. So, in a continuum between principles and application, IT focuses more on application, with the goal being to apply knowledge of computing sciences for solving problems. However, as the foundations of IT are in Computer Science, Indian universities and colleges deem it feasible to have a CS-based IT programme. This allows a graduate of the programme to choose a career in CS or IT, based on their choice and availability of job prospects.  And mostly corporates make little difference between these disciplines while selecting students.

The  nature of the industry requirements in the country also plays a crucial role. Since most of the companies in this sector focus on application development and maintainance at best, the need for hard core reserach level employees is minimal. So even if a student is taught subjects like chip design architecture, machine level languages , his or her chances of getting a  career in that domain is minimal.

UEM kolkata is a good college and the average package was 6lacs and last year.

BBA is a three year full time graduation course divided into six semesters. It gives knowledge in various business fields and management.

ASM CSIT is a good college for graduation. Infrastructure of this college is also good with  facilities library,wifi, labs etc. Faculty members are also well experienced here. see cutoff score changes in every year and it depends on various factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix , your streams of choice etc, see at this score you have less chances for top ranked iits and nits , however you may apply for iit guwahati ms program where cutoff score is comparatively less than m.tech program. you may also apply for jadavpur university, vit vellore, psg coimbatore, anna university etc.

CSE,IT has very good placement records.A lot of companies come for hiring students of CSE,IT. Companies like Lava,Tcs,Reliance petrochemical etc.visit this college also some computer science based companies regularly visit to this college. Average package was approximately 6 to 7 lakhs per annum.

In 3rd year,students are allowed for internship.Basically you can do internship in 2nd year also but college allow in 3rd year.You can do internship from BHEL,ntpc,gail,iffco,railways,ccc,etc.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve both of the nice college and if you want to know about college then ajay kumar garg is always better than kiet. Now choices for branch if you want to choose between IT and CS then CS is better because of its scope and placement. If you were to take my opinion then I would go with Computer science engineering in kiet(not CSIT both are different). So choose smartly considering my views.
