  • In 2020-21, over 140 companies participated in BNMIT’s campus placement drive (placements are still in progress)
  • The highest package offered till date is INR 40 LPA and the average salary package stands at INR7.30 LPA for academic year 2021-22 (placements recently commenced)
  • Centrally located in Bengaluru, the IT hub of India, with easy access to all the amenities
  • Equal emphasis on extra-curricular and co-curricular activities
  • Various clubs and conduits that provide a platform for students to discover their passion

Considering all these factors, BNMIT  (https://www.bnmit.org/) not only provides quality education but also has various other advantages that make it the better option among the four colleges mentioned above. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hello,

Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference which will comprise of all these factors:

  • Overall ranking
  • Infrastructure
  • Location/accessibility
  • Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
  • Placement opportunities
  • Industry Exposure

You should consider CMRIT over Ambedkar institute of Technology

I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

Good luck, hope it helps!!

Hello,

Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:

  • Overall ranking
  • Infrastructure
  • Location/accessibility
  • Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)

The preference order you should consider is:

  1. New Horizon College of Engineering
  2. C M R Institute of Technology

CSE deals with both software and hardware and ISE deals with only software. Placement opportunities are same for  both these branches.
If you're planning to do further studies then, CSE is a wiser choice as in India currently there are no postgrad programmes available for Information Science, GATE has only CSE paper and you'll have to do your M.Tech, MS in CSE only.

I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. As you mentioned college both belong to same tier of college and you mentioned your course branch ie that is CSE and in CSE you will always have more chance than others course  branch to get a placement and more package than others

So don't worry about your college preference as both of it has same placement ratio

And if you have enough knowledge then you take placement by offcampus
