DAVIET Jalandhar Placements

DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology Jalandhar has a separate training and placement cell on campus. According to the NIRF 2025 report, 241 students got placed in top companies. The DAVIET Jalandhar placement cell acts as a bridge between students and top companies. DAVIET Jalandhar placement cell also helps the companies to conduct the placement process which includes Pre-Placement Talk, written tests and final interviews.

For DAVIET Jalandhar placements, candidates must register at the placement cell. The placement cell conducts various activities for its students, such as conducting personality development workshops, training students in aptitude tests, interview techniques, group discussions and organises industrial visits. Candidates will be given an offer letter, selected in the DAVIET placement process students after which they have to join by the date mentioned in the offer letter.

The college provides good placements for those who deserve and suitable for it. Companies select the students according to their performance and additional skills. The lowest and highest salary is offered to the students. About 60% of the students from our course got an internship.

Placements provided by the college are good ( above 80% ) enough for students who want to do something in their future. Companies like Wipro, Samsung, TCS, Infosys etc. came every year for the recruitment of students. Average package offered by the companies are between 3.5 - 5 lacs/annum.

Around 75-80% students got placed in our course. The highest package - 12 lpa, the lowest package- 2.5lpa and average- 4 lpa. Top companies - Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Zscaler, ST electronics, JARO, cognizant. 30% students got internship in Zapbuild, Signicent, Emicon companies.

In my opinion, you should go for CGC Landran which is among one of the best colleges in Chandigarh. You can go for PU Patiala as well.

There are two important things that you should consider while choosing a branch.
i) Interest: If you are too much into cars, machines and stuff then he should go for Mechanical Engineering, if you are not that specific about it then you can go for ECE. Electronics and Communication
