Dr.BC Roy Engineering College as seen so far by me has one the best infrastructure, facilites and equipment. Starting from internet facilities to teachers' support everything is just up to the mark. Classrooms have neat and clean desks and benches, blackboards and every other essential thing. Laboratories have best equipments and all other best educational related things as well as the Lab Assistants and teachers. Libraries are also very useful as they contain every other books the students need and the students don't need to buy books from outside and they are undoubtedly well-maintained. The living spaces and food canteens are also very hygienic.

I'm currently studying in Btech First year in Electrical engineering and according to me this college has the best faculties in this branch in the whole Asansol-Durgapur division. The quality of teaching is really very good and the teachers are undoubtedly very talented. They guide us in the best way possible. The recent study-curriculum is updated according to the latest as being in Electrical Engineering line we can also study about computer and animation in the upcoming semesters as said by our HOD.

According to me, placements are basically upon the students that is how they score and how they perform. College is just a backbone to the student's placement which according to me this college does in a great manner. In my stream,more than 90% placements have been recorded and the highest salary is 6lakhs per annum as heard.

My course of Electrical Engineering cost around 5,50,000 for 4years.I think the money is worth it according to the quality of education and educational extra-curricular activities.

The campus life is good enough. The students,the seniors are friendly. The teachers,staff,guards are also very friendly. It feels like home. It's location is quite good and it can definitely handle emergencies as Every important institutions like hospital,police stations are near it I mean just a few kilometres away.

The labs and classrooms are Clean. regular cleaning is done. The Wi-Fi facility is there. The quality of the facilities at the hostel is very Excellent. The quality of the food provided looks hygienic, and medical facilities are provided in case of any emergency. In sports and games, the facility provided is average. I expected more from college than from the present situation.

The teachers are very helpful. You can ask any doubts that you can't understand in class, and they will help at any time. The teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, knowing each point of their respective departments. They teach the topics in a gentle manner. This course helps us to be ready for the industry. The semester exams are not very difficult, but you have to study hard to pass them.

Almost 70% of students get placed in our college. The average package is around 4 Lacs, the median package is 3 Lacs, and the highest package is 14 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. Almost 80% of students got internships in their respective fields. In my course, ECE, the top roles include embedded engineer, tester etc.

The college has a central library with large amount of books, journals and e-resources. My department has well-equipped labs with modern instruments and infrastructure. The Wi-Fi connectivity is good and available all through out the campus. The hostel is well-ventilated and has 4 beds in a room, the quality of food is very good and its very hygienic as someone living outside his home for the first time I can confirm that the quality of food is pretty good. Medical facilites are available 24/7. Sports and games are also held here within the complex and we also have a multi-gym.

The teachers are qualified and experienced and PhD holders. The curriculum is up to date and relevant and the exams are also fair and very challenging as it prepares the students for their future. The semester exams in thus college are like intermediate level but if you study hard you can ace every exam, the competition level is pretty high so be prepared. The passing percentage is 70%.

The placement percentage of my department is about 85%, and the highest offered package is 12 LPA, while the lowest being 3.5 LPA and the average pack is 5-6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and IBM. Around 75% students got internships from the course.

Classrooms are spacious and clean every day, Wi-Fi facility is available 24X7. The laboratory is good in quality, instruments are well-decorated and calibrated. Good stock of books is there. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, and large rooms, and the hostel food quality is very bad. The canteen is clean, large with good capacity. Very few sports and games are available in the college.

All faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable they are too good with students. They help us in every way, they give us knowledge about the engineering market. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes students industry ready. The semester exam is very difficult. Everyone should study in the right way.70to75% of students passed.

There are on Good 60 to 70% of students are placed in our course. The average package is 2.4 to 3.2LPA which is offered by the companies. Accenture and delloite are the highlighted companies which are recruited from our department. 50 to 60% of students got internships from our course with good stipend.

The college is well-equipped with proper machinery for all departments. The hostel is also good enough. Wi-Fi facility are available all over the college, and the canteen is also good, providing a large variety of options for both veg and non-veg students.

The teachers are very knowledgeable (there are very few of them) and the rest of the faculty's teaching style is different from what I understand. The PDFs they provide are not at all helpful for the exams you have to study for with your own notes. Even the marking system is too abrupt, as you cannot determine whether you will pass or fail even if the answers to questions were perfect.

Facilities and infrastructure available in my department are many things like Wi-Fi on every floor. Labs are clean and well-mannered. Classrooms are neat and clean and provide a CCTV camera and smart classes. Library is good there are many books for everything.

Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are qualified from IITS, NIT and many more good colleges. They are well-mannered, and disciplined, and provide support in extracurricular activities, industrial projects, and exams.

The college campus was quite big, having facilities like high-speed Wi-Fi connection, spacious classrooms, computer labs, library, canteen, etc. College hostel was also available for the students. Students were served good quality food at the mess of the hostel.

teachers of our institute were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, providing proper knowledge and guidance to the students. The course curriculum followed in our college was also relevant and makes the students job-ready. Exams of our institute were not very easy to pass.

For the CSE branch at our college, 60-70% of students get placements. Our college provides various placement opportunities to the students. Top recruiters for our course are TCS, Infosys, Paytm, etc. Top roles offered were software developer, Frontend, backend developer, etc.

College is fully wi-fi accessible. With good classroom conditions and equipment in labs as per the course need. The library got the book bank to collect books for your current semester with the addition of some other books in fiction and nonfiction genres. The college got medical support for needed individuals. For sports, we have football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball space each to have good extracurricular activities.

Faculty members here are mostly doctorates, and some got Masters degrees. Their teaching is good, although a little issue for people outside West Bengal in understanding their accent and language barrier is also there. Due to the newly autonomous status of the college, the course curriculum has been updated as per industry requirements. Exam difficulty is somewhat average. You can score well if you attend lectures thoroughly.

We had quite a decent placement season at our college in 2024. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.8 LPA. We are expecting continuation in it as we look forward to the complete data of 2025. My post-college plans are flexible. I'm thinking about entering the job market if the opportunities seem lucrative or continuing further studies through GATE to M.Tech at a later stage. This dual approach will keep me open to all immediate career opportunities and long-term academic goals, grooming myself for the future.
