GCE Tirunelveli has a placement cell that provides job opportunities to the students who are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses from the college. GCE Tirunelveli placement cell keeps in touch with reputed firms and organisations. Government College of Engineering Tirunelveli placement cell provides training to the students by organising various guest lectures, workshops, mock interviews, and others.
According to NIRF 2025, the GCE Tirunelveli median salary package is Rs. 3,50,000. This training helps the students to perform well in the final Government College of Engineering Tirunelveli placement drive. Racist behavior and threatening from warden and some staffs.

Placement instructions also explained only in Tamil so I don't understand anything. I get interview and interviewer says that there were complaints about this college from non-Tamil people before me. Non-Tamil senior from Bengalore also not recommend this college

I have no idea about on-campus placements. I heard some were placed off-campus with a decent package. Both core and IT companies are visiting the campus. But the chances of getting hired by a core company is still low. If you are good in programming concepts, you may be hired by IT companies. A quality improvement cell is deployed in the campus to make sure every student gets their opportunity to improve their skills.
