    College Infrastructure

College is good in terms of infrastructure whether it's classrooms for studies or hostels for accommodation. Students also get Wi-Fi services . Nowadays smarts boards are common and our college have them in most of the classes. Apart from these fooding is great .

    Academics

Our college really go well with the current demands of the market . We are made aware with the current technologies. If we see the syllabus then we will find it doesn't go well with job requirements but what our college do is that along with the classic syllabus it gives you additional supplements to your studies which is utterly important for job.

    Placements

There are numbers of company which visit our college every year and placement keeps on increasing with each year. Students are satisfied with the placement records. We often see placement as a different thing but a college which really go parallel with the latest technologies and amend itself with the demands then students of that college will surely get a good placement and so goes with our college.

    Value for Money

Being a government college , it charges much less if compared with what we get as content.

    College experience by the student

    College Infrastructure

No.. All necessary infrastructure is not available And facilities in the study purpose is sufficient but physical facilities are very poor availability. In class room there is a projector , ac and many things which are required for student. In hostels wifi are available and hostel is available for every student

    Academics

I study B. Tech and i read here because this is a government college and here I got better study and i will make my future bright. Yes, I sure our curriculum is updated and include all the recent developments in the field. Teachers are very Knowlegible and they teach me with very hard working. So i sure that i mill definitely get a job

    Placements

Not good quality of placements at our college. Near 40% students are placed by the college. 12 lakh per annum is maximum package offered to the student and it is for B. Tech degree only. Avarage salary offered by the company is 7 lakh per annum.

    Value for Money

75000 cost per year for B. Tech course. No, I does not feel that my money is worth. Because of we get more knowledge from the college by which I will make my life successful. And in my college scholarship are available so that i doesn't feel.

    Campus Life

Our college campus background is not more beautiful but campus is covered very more space and here playground are available in more space. Students are very talented in singing dancing and other activities. It's location is not good. It is in very outer area. Yes, it handles emergencies because of here college hospital are available.

    Good college with enthusiastic students

    College Infrastructure

Since, KNIT was established 40 yrs ago and thus most of the academic buildings and hostels are old.Every department has their resp. Laboratories with old equipments(working).the college does not focusses more on sports(lack of funds) and the sports fest is conducted evry alternate year.the cleanliness of hostel totally depends on the regularity of sweepers. The food here is mediocre(could have been better).

    Academics

KNIT is an autonomous college but follows AKTU syllabus.there are most of the senior faculties present and hence as the time passing there interest in student is vanishing. But there are some good faculties and hence students can rely on them for academic aid and projects(recommendations as well).

    Placements

I dont have much experience of this as i am a currently 2nd yr student but what i heard from my senior is that the placements for cs,IT is good and almost all the students gets placed.some el students also gets placed as well but the placements of core branch students are not good as not many core companies comes to our college and hence most of the students prepares for GATE and aspires to have a job in PSUs.

    Value for Money

My college fees is 95k(including tution fees, hostel, mess) and is still very less from the private college fees. As this is not an astonishing no.s as fees in govt. College is generally low.i think its worth ur money as one can be able to complete their graduation under 4 lacs. Also the facilities are not that bad that one can regret about their money getting drowned.

    Campus Life

The campus life here is good.also there are many councils as students can themselves engaged by participating in diff. Events or being the member of th councils.the senior interaction is the best part of the campus life as there is not much support one can expect from management/faculties and hence seniors helps in every possible way they can.since Sultanpur is a small city and hence there is not much to roam in the city and hence students keep themselves busy in the college.

Have a question related to KNIT Sultanpur ?

With a JEE Main score of 70 marks, your expected percentile would be in the range of 87 to 92. For the EWS category under the home state quota for Uttar Pradesh, securing a Computer Science (CS) branch at Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT) Sultanpur might be possible but is subject to the cutoff trends of 2025.

Looking at the previous year's data can provide some insight. In 2024, for the EWS category (Home State) at KNIT Sultanpur, the closing ranks for Computer Science Engineering in different rounds were: Round 1 at 58140, Round 2 at 62629, Round 3 at 64891, and Round 4 at 65704. These ranks are generally based on the Common Rank List (CRL) and not category-specific ranks. Your percentile range of 87-92 could translate to a rank that falls within or around these closing ranks, especially with the benefit of the EWS reservation and the home state quota.

However, it's important to understand that cutoff ranks can vary each year depending on the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the specific preferences of the candidates. A score of 70 marks typically corresponds to a rank in the range of 1,00,000 to 1,50,000. Given the 2024 closing ranks for EWS (Home State) in CS at KNIT Sultanpur, which were within this approximate rank range, there is a reasonable chance for you to get a seat.

To maximize your chances, you should actively participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. During the choice filling process, prioritize KNIT Sultanpur with the CS branch, along with other preferred colleges and branches. Since you have the home state quota for Uttar Pradesh, this will be advantageous for admissions in state government colleges like KNIT Sultanpur. Keep an eye on the official JoSAA and UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling) websites for the most up-to-date information on counselling schedules and cutoff ranks as they are released.

Anyone can plz help mee ,,,, if i have opted tfw seat ,, but can i fill non tfw seat first and fill only one seat of tfw at last like this.... 1. jss noida ntf 2. knit sultanpur ntf, 3.biet jhasi ntf, ......13. psit tf i have got last one right now ,,can i get above (1-12) choices in round 2

If you have opted for a Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) seat but wish to fill a non-TFW seat instead, the procedure can vary depending on the institution or the counseling authority. Here’s a general approach to handle this situation:

    1. Check Counseling Rules:

    • Official Guidelines : Review the official counseling guidelines provided by the institution or the counseling authority. These guidelines often outline the process for changing your seat options or preferences.
    • TFW Policies : Understand the specific policies related to TFW seats, as there might be rules regarding changing preferences.

    2. Contact the Counseling Authority:

    • Inquire Directly : Reach out to the counseling authority or admission office to ask if it’s possible to change your preference from a TFW seat to a non-TFW seat.
    • Request Procedures : Ask about the procedure for making such a change, including any deadlines or forms you may need to fill out.

    3. Update Preferences:

    • Online Portal : If the counseling process is conducted online, you might be able to update your preferences on the official counseling portal. Log in and check if there’s an option to modify your seat preferences.
    • Offline Procedures : If the process is offline, you may need to submit a formal request or application to change your preferences.

    4. Understand the Implications:

    • Seat Availability : Be aware that switching from a TFW seat to a non-TFW seat might depend on seat availability. Non-TFW seats could be limited and might have different criteria.
    • Fee Structure : Understand how the change will affect your fee structure and overall costs.

    5. Follow Up:

    • Confirmation : Once you’ve made the change, ensure you receive confirmation from the counseling authority or institution about the updated seat allocation.
    • Documentation : Keep any documentation or confirmation emails related to the change for future reference.

For precise guidance, it’s crucial to refer to the specific counseling authority’s instructions or contact them directly. If you need further help with a specific institution or process, let me know, and I can provide more detailed advice!
