KJSIM Scholarship Selection Process
The selection procedure comprises a two-stage process with the following steps:
Pre-screening criteria
Stage 1:
screening is done based on the academic merit, achievements in extracurricular or cocurricular activities of the applicant and candidate’s Statement of Purpose of 300 words by the KJSIM Selection Committee (Head of Admissions, at least 3 Area Chairpersons, Director).
Stage 2:
In-person interview by a panel consisting of the VC, Registrar, Dean of Research, Director and an External Expert. The top 5 students will be selected for the scholarship, subject to the condition that they produce valid documents. The scholarship will be offered for 2 years with conditions of maintaining academic performance at 65% to 70% or equivalent CGPA and attendance above 75%.
K J Somaiya Institute of Management Scholarship Schedule
The eligible candidates will be sent a mail along with the first round of offer letters in the first week of April to apply for the scholarship.
Applicants also need to submit required documents and Statement Of Purpose (SOP).
The candidate needs to pay the 1st instalment to secure the seat and the same will be reimbursed in the last week of April based on the scholarship decision announced.
The Statement of Purpose will be assessed (By Faculty Members) and all other documents will be verified (By Staff).
The interviews will be scheduled and conducted in 2nd or 3rd week of April
