As of now there has been no discussion on the date for reopening of the college for B.Tech first year students but the online classes in Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology for B.Tech first year has started from December 2, 2020. *The MGIT hostel is good with all the facilities like hostel rooms are neat , cleaned and well maintained  with wifi. Where has it also contain the facilities like gym and cricket ground

MGIT is one of the oldest institution but the overall rating is better for CMR. Placement opportunity is better in CMR but packages are better in MGIT. Total fee is a bit expensive in MGIT than CMR. Infrastructure and facilities are better in CMR rather than MGIT,
