Dear Aspirant,

Sreenidhi:-

Placements: The college placements are good but students have to prepare well to get higher packages, the highest package approximately 24 lpa, minimum is 3.6 lpa and there will be 3-4 companies who take bulk recruitment with average package 4 lpa. For CSE roles will be good based on your performance and remaining courses should work hard to get high packages.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome and regarding ground for sports is less and remaining all are good along with labs and Wi-Fi. Classrooms are good and quality of food is good but better don't prefer canteen food and medical facilities are good and games are also good to go.

Faculty: Some faculty are excellent in supporting students, curriculum is good if you follow step by step and have a good performance, difficult level of semester is not that much high. People can pass with ease and pass percentage is 40%. Students should participate good in all activities from outside too.

MGIT:-

Placements: Above 60% of the students from CSE course got placed. The highest salary package offered ranges between 12-15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like IBM and TCS visit the campus for placements.

Infrastructure: The college provides a hostel facility. The food served is above average. The Wi-Fi facility is good. Rooms are average, and the bathrooms are also average. There are good classrooms, and the library is the best. The canteen served good food items. The college provides ground for games like cricket, football and basketball. The campus is totally eco-friendly with an open space.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They have good teaching skills. There is a great mentorship. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students confidence high and improves their skills. Exams are quite moderate, and we can pass easily in them. It is one of the best colleges.

MVSR:-

Placements: Students get an average percentage of about 75%. Top recruiting companies like Cisco and Accenture visit the college for placements. The minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA. Students often get an internship from Cisco and Microchip, which are online-based. About 70% of the students from the college got placed.

Infrastructure: As the college was established in 1983, the infrastructure is too old. The maintenance of the college is good. The campus is greenery, fresh and spacious. There are no medical facilities. I am satisfied with the sports facilities. The college does not provide a hostel facility, but we get the hostel out of campus. The library is good. Classrooms do not have ventilation.

Faculty: As there are online classes, the faculty members are not even considering whether students are joining the classes or not. The course curriculum is quite different because we have some irrelevant subjects. The pass percentage is 40% out of 100%. Their teaching quality is very poor. I am not satisfied with some faculty members.

KMIT:-

Placements: Nearly 60% of the students got placed in various companies, and the remaining mostly got internships and can get placed after internships. The highest package offered is 41 LPA, the average 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 to 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Microsoft, TCS, Adobe, Amazon etc. Nearly 30% of students will get internships. Software engineer role is offered.

Infrastructure: KMIT campus has a vast number of facilities such as a library with many books, each classroom with a projector and Wi-Fi facility. The main facility of KMIT is the online interface, i.e., the apps and websites where we can do programing, get attendance etc. The canteen is average. It has enough food items. They have indoor games.

Faculty: The teachers in KMIT are very good, and they are always ready to clear the doubts of students. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders and M.Tech graduates. The curriculum is average as it is of JNTU for the college, but for our juniors, it is okay. I think from 2021, KMIT has become autonomous.

Good Luck!

See both the colleges are affiliated by the same university i.e., Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad . So the curriculum followed by both the college is the same. Now apart from this if you see the placements then MGIT have better placement ration compared to KMIT. Also MGIT have more specialized faculties in the field. So if you choose any one between this two, then as per my opinion MGIT will be better than that of KMIT.

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know about the comparison between these colleges in civil engineering.

I would personally recommend you to go with CVR civil Engineering because as compared to other colleges civil still is better here.

To be honest civil engineering in private colleges is not something to opt for but among these colleges CVR is best.

The campus is quite big and full of trees. You can also find peacocks and parrots here. You will also have a basketball court, 3 volleyball courts, and one cricket ground. When it comes to the library, you will have access to plenty of books, and there is also a digital library where you will find a few systems to do your work.

Hands on learning with expert faculty

College Infrastructure

The college was built in 1998, so most buildings are old. The classroom infrastructure is good. In my department, most labs are core labs, like electronics labs. For the CSE department, the best facilities in computer labs with AC, Wi-Fi, and all. MGIT and CBIT students share a combined hostel. I don’t stay in the hostel, but one of my friends who does says the hostel facilities are good.

Supportive and friendly faculty
