The campus was relatively new when I joined back then. The facilities felt modern for the early 2000s, especially the computer science laboratories which were well maintained. We sometimes wished for better sports amenities on the main site. The overall environment was clean and conducive to studying. I believe the infrastructure served my Bachelor of Technology years well. I was satisfied with the space provided.
My computer science professors were genuinely committed to teaching the core subjects. We received solid foundation knowledge for the engineering principles. The syllabus itself was very rigid, being under the university framework. Practical application beyond classroom theory felt limited at times. I had to seek out additional knowledge independently. My understanding of fundamentals improved significantly here.
Nearly everyone in my 2006 batch secured a job during the campus placement drive. Major information technology services companies recruited us actively. However, the salary packages were only average for that booming period. The largest or "dream" companies were not consistently visiting the campus for recruitment. It was a sufficient result for me, but it was not spectacular. I received an employment offer.
Considering the quality of the Bachelor of Technology degree I received and the placement result, I felt it was a worthwhile investment. The college fees were reasonable compared to many other private institutions in West Bengal. I believe I gained a solid engineering platform for the money spent. It provided me a necessary entry point into the job market. This was a good starting point for my career.
The college size encouraged a really close student community; everyone knew each other easily. I loved the informal interactions and the freedom we had to organize departmental events. We spent most of our time together, building strong bonds. The entire experience felt welcoming and inclusive to me. It made my four years truly memorable. I cherish the friendships I made there.

The college have an excellent infrastructure.. I wil start from the campus..The campus is really something soothing to eyes because of its Greenery... There are number of plants and trees all over the campus which keeps blooming all the time.. There are cricket, basketball, volleyball, football, badminton ,etc game's grounds.. There is a big swimming pool in the campus.. the canteen are very well hygienic.. The class rooms are very well modernized. The only drawback is there is no wifi available.
The quality of teachers are very good but the worst thing is the syllabus.. The curriculum is very much out dated. We don't get any exposure to the new technologies. Moreover the regular burden of assignments makes the students so under pressure that they cant study of their own.
The placement is a real place to worry.. Those who are placed either they gets a very low packages like 4lpa or otherwise they don't get a satisfactory job profile.. The others who are unplaced have knly option of self talent and no aid is provided by the institute.
I would say its average. If we talk about the all round development of an individual then the college gives far more than what it takes.. But when we come to just academic sector the scene is changed and we stand in a place of loss.
The campus life in this college is the best part here.. This college fulfill all the dreams which an individual can have for a campus.. He can learn new games like cricket, volleyball,basketball,tennis,badminton,soccer,etc... They can also learn swimming.. The campus have many clubs like technical, enterpreneur, social, literary, etc through which we can learn many things.. Lastly the hostel life is worth living
If you are only here for academic affairs then this institution is not for you.. But if u see for an all round development.. this Institute is best.
