Overall infrastructure is nice, very nice canteen you get good hygienic food, labs are also very well organised although the instruments and equipments can be more up to date , very nice and big quadrangle we also have ramaiah ground but that is 800 meters away from the college.
carriculum is really nice for IEM, That is industrial engineering and management which is a baby mechanical branch in which we study both basics of mechanical and basics of management. industrial visits are less and can be included more in 2nd and 3rd years.
For computer science and Information science engineering the placements are nice with avg package of almost 12 lpa with nice companies coming in. for non circuit branches placements are okayish. for IEM people placments are not the first priority because most of them always loook for further studies.
my course that was industrial engineering and management costed around ninety thousand per month for CET students and for students coming via COMEDK the fees is around 2,00,000. value for money depends upon your perspective so if you want learning and all or you want a nice placement.
we have a big quadrangle right in between the campus with benches to sit and also a lot of clubs and committee are there to participate and to shine on your extracarricular like , comedy club, quiz club etc. location is nice that is in the heart of bangalore with decent enough hostel facilities for boys.
College has a nice infrastructure, having good quadrangle, nice classrooms, good washrooms, decent labs with all the equipments , although it ca n be more up to date with time, hostels for first years are nice for boys.
Industry exposure could be better , but faculties are very nice with alot of academic excellence and seminars are also conducted for all the students and help alot for students who have interest inthe field.
CSE and ISE Placements are always nice and people get ample amount of opportunities to prove themselves and get good placements.for branches like mechanical and civil it is bit difficult bt still opportunities are there.
College fees is around 2 lakhs per annum for students coming via comedk and around 90,000 for students coming via CET , you can get placements upto 25/26 Lakhs per annum if you grab the opportunities. Facilities are also nice but the college does needs a bit revamp.
Ramaiah campus is around 80 acres including the medical side and the engineering side is around 30 acres , location is nice it's in the heart of Bangalore you ca visit the website for exact locatio. And hospitals and all are also easily accessible.
Nice classrooms , Nice canteen , Nice quadrangle , separate buildings for different departments , college have different labs but some of the equipments are pretty old. college ground is like 800 meters from college otherwise there is no issue.
I did my mechanical engineering from RIT , some professors are really experienced and explain all the concepts nicely , seminars are conducted sometimes by visiting faculties. you will always get your basics right.
For an engineering college placement is nice, CSE and ISE branches have very nice placements and core branches also gets decent placement, there are opportunities for everyone to shine on . placement process is pleasant, and college is supprotive.
my course costes 2 lakhs per annum, if you come through CET the fees is around 90,000. more or less it is worth the money as it does provide you with alot of facilities and exposure to many things which can be helpful in life.
campus life is amazing, there is alot of extracarricullar activities happening all around the college all around the year, location is also nice as it is in the IT hub , just next to our college there is ramaiah memorial hospital.
The college infrastructure is pretty good . It is a vast campus with a lot of facilities. There are about three libraries and about 4 hostels which is build with the leastest technology helping students advance in their academics . There are multiple sectors on the college campus like law, architecture, commerce stream, medical and engineering. The maintenance of the vast campus which includes cleaning and sanitation is extremely good.
I’m in the mechanical engineering branch of the institute which is a male dominated branch. The quality of teaching is pretty good and it is updated to the newest education policy. I think it’s the practical demonstration of theory and the application of it in our daily life as enforced by the faculty provides us with that sense of knowledge which makes us job ready
The quality of placements in our college is very good as 90% of the students get placed into major companies like Wipro, cognisant,IBM etc . In my branch the recruitment is very high as automobile industry is a growing industry. The highest package is about 60 lakhs per annul for a fresher by Mercedes Benz. The average salary is about 3-4 lakhs per annum. The faculty involved in the process are very supportive and try their best to get the best placements available.
There are three divisions for general category which I belong to. Them being CET, Comedk, and management. I fall under cet so the fees I pay is about 1.75 lakh and personally for Neots worth it but the management quota is very overpriced according to me. I feel I’m getting my moneys worth cause the facilities, faculty and the aminities are very good along with the placements but that however is not the general opinion.
The campus is average as currently there are no social or cultural events happening in the btech side of college the location is safe and it can handle emergencies. The staff are pretty supportive occasionally but they prioritise studying a lot more than they should.
I personally love my crowd in this college. The teaching faculty are good and the infrastructure, canteen food , cleanliness everything just adds my likeness to this college even more . Although there aren’t much activities it’s a college completely free from election , bullying , substance abuse and ragging making it one of the most peaceful colleges in Bangalore along with its quality of education it is unparalleled in certain areas.
College has vast infrastructure which includes advanced labs, smart tv, big auditorium, multiple seminar halls, ground, outdoor stadium and indoor stadium.one fun fact about ramaiah is they never stop building.
Ramaiah consists many professional teachers who are more into practical part of the subjects rather than usual theoretical. They are very helpful when it comes to project.Academic wise, everything is good.
Ramaiah has one of the best placements. It companies visit every week. Even the core companies placements are more. Excellent placement workshop will be done by placement coordinator and they make sure that each students land up with placements.
I joined through kcet. It's worth the money in every aspect. They not only focus on your studies , placements and technical group but also cocurricular activities. They are the best when it comes to extra curricular activities.
One of the best campus. It's very huge and it's very difficult for the freshers. Even it took 1 month for me to understand each and every block of the campus.
Ramaiah is the best when compared to other colleges in Bangalore. They are good in every aspects and you won't feel the strictness which you face in other colleges. Everyone are friendly.even the canteen food are very good.
Our institute is located in one best and beautiful cities in the nation. It has the temple and greenery garden as beautiful center of attraction. Our institute has best infrastructure over any other institute in Bangalore. We've all the advanced facilities like sports centers, indoor stadiums, cafeteria,WIFI,smart classes
Almost every student is willing to join in our institute as it has the good academic career for the students to gain required knowledge and to improve specific skills towards present market needs. The best faculties with excellent laboratories were subjected to train the students.
Our institute take atmost specific care towards students career. Almost every student from every academic year were targeted to attend campus drives. And about 80% of them were being placed in good famed companies with expected salary. I'm proud to say that the highest salary package is offered to one of students from our institute.
We are getting our money even more worthy by having atmost basic facilities provided by institute like good cafeteria with experienced master chef, water, superfast wifi connection, electricity, e-libraries,acces to e-portals,workshops.And also the conduction of extra activities with improves students interaction and basic knowledge like communication.
Students were targeted to improve their skills and knowledge according to present market needs. Future guidance by the experienced professors.
Student friendly and Good career ahead
The infrastructure of the college is amongst the best in Bangalore. There are many vast spaces, canteens, sport facilities and gym. It is a wholly self contained campus comprising of everything that students on campus would ever require.
Academics and faculties both are good and yes syllabus and course updates time to time. Practicals are pretty interesting. Classes are chill and enjoyable. They lack in some places , but is still good .
MSRIT has a very good placement record. Placement is 100% and at the end of four years most of the students end up getting 2 job offers. The average package for CSE is around 6-7 lakhs per annum which is pretty good.
The infrastructure is pretty moderate, but it includes all the facilities from sports centers to 3 to 4 libraries, clean hostels, high speed wifi and everything is always kept well maintained. The food is pretty moderate as well.
You get a lot of opportunities to learn technologies from different fields through clubs and workshops that are happening most of the time and professors are also very helpful in terms of helping us make the right decisions and writing research papers.
As far as I know, the placement are pretty good and most students get placed in the in-campus interviews and don't have to look for interviews outside campus. As I'm still in 2nd year, I haven't gone through the placement process so no comments.
The infrastructure of the college is among the best in Bangalore. There are many vast spaces, canteens, sport facilities and Gym. The libraries are the best thing about the infrastructure. They are vast and have a lot of knowledgeable books with students borrowing books quite often.
The curriculum is decent and teachers are quite knowledgeable but they do not teach with passion and interest. They teach with the intent of completing syllabus and scoring marks without much outside the book knowledge. The curriculum does not make one job ready which is the case with most colleges. Students have prepare themselves to be job ready. The correction of answer scripts are fair and teachers are quite lenient. If the student has abilities of self study grades are easily attainable.
The placements at RIT are among the best in Bangalore especially for CSE and ISE departments. Between 95-99 percent students are placed. The highest package is around 30 LPA and the average for CSE and ISE is 7-8 LPA. About 80+ students get packages above 9-10 LPA.
The fees for students who joined through KCET is around 70k-80k annually and for those joining through COMEDK it is 2.3 lakhs. The money spent is totally worth it for students who make the best out of their 4 years in college.
The campus is among the largest in Bangalore and has well maintained canteens, sport facilities and a Gym. It is located in the heart of Bangalore with good transport facilities and hangout spots nearby.
The infrastructure is really eye catching.all the necessary labs and libraries are there. If u wanna learn something there's no restriction for it.The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are amongst the very best. It is a wholly self-contained campus comprising of everything that students on campus would ever require. Come; see it to believe
Academics and faculties both are good and yes syllabus and course updates time to time.Particals are pretty interesting. Classes are chill and often enjoyable. They lack in some places , but it still good.
MSRIT has a very good placement record. Placement is 100% and at the end of 4 years most of the students end up getting 2 job offers. Highest package for the year 2016 is 50 lpa offered by an US based company. The average package for CSE is around 6 7 lakhs per annum which is pretty good.
Approx of 2.3 lacs u have to pay every year.the fee is quite big as compare to other nits and IITs.but ad compare to gud private colleges in India it is fine. Also city matters and benguluru is an expensive city.so according to that you have to manage yours pocket
Campus life is also gud.there are many clubs which perform various activities timely. And the gud part it's in the middle of the City. So u can get anything easily.and it's safe and it can handle all types of emergencies.
Overall the college is gud and it's in Bengaluru which is known for its climate and also a IT hub.so students find too many opportunities here for job as well as start-ups.
Hello Aspirant,
If you are opting for Biotechnology, each university has its own advantages:
With a COMEDK rank of 6949 , you are not likely to get ECE at top colleges like MSRIT, BMSCE, or RVCE , as their ECE cutoffs are usually below 4,000 .
Consider other branches like Mechanical, Civil, or other IT specializations where closing ranks range between 25,000 to 60,000
Explore less competitive engineering colleges in Karnataka that cut off around 50,000 to 100,000 .
hi,
With a rank of 23,000 in COMEDK, getting admission in the Mechanical branch at MSRIT might be difficult because usually the closing rank for Mechanical in this college tends to be much lower. MSRIT is one of the top colleges and seats in popular branches like Mechanical usually fill up quickly. But still, you can try in the later rounds of counselling because sometimes the cutoffs go a bit higher if some students leave or change their options
