The college holds great infrastructure with all the modern facilities. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with advanced technologies, well equipped laboratories. Libraries are well equipped with extensive resources!
The Professors here are all very knowledgeable and dedicated to their respective domains! All the Professors here are very friendly and helpful! Also the curriculum is updated including all the recent developments in the field!
Placement here is good. The members in the placement cell are helpful and supportive . The college's connection with various industries is quite good! The members in the placement cell are all very active and keep the students updated about various new trends!
MSRIT has a lot of industrial collaborations with companies like toyota , boeing , Apple , Schneider Electric, JSW, SAP labs etc etc and all these companies have a lab in the college in addition to the traditional labs and equipment that are present in an engineering college. It has one of the best mechanical engineering labs and workshop in the city of Bangalore . I think the Infrastructure of College is very good but Hostels and Mess can be improved in a lot of ways.
Academically MSRIT functions as an excellent institute as most courses in engineering are up to date with industry standards and demands, and a lot of open elective choices help students to make themselves adapt to different fields and technologies.
MSRIT is famous due to it's placements in Bangalore as the top 3-4 branches in engineering get a very good package with The maximum placement standing at around 60 lakhs by Apple and a good average placement of around 10 LPA . Although, the placements in branches like Biotech, chemical, medical electronics is limited but then can apply to basic IT companies for job .
Overall MSRIT is a great college in terms of value for money as the fees to placement ratio is very good and if placed a student can easily clear their loans in a year or two . Also the fee structure is different depending on the entry examination.
Campus life is decent is MSRIT , it's not exceptionally good and is not very bad either. Although student life is good in MSRIT , the campus , majorly the hostels and other facilities can be improved.
Yes, it has the best infrastructure among all colleges in Bangalore. All the facilities are great. We’ve got around 4 libraries and a digital library. It’s jus that there’s not enough space to accommodate sports grounds in college and the ground is outside college.
I studied mechanical engineering. The quality of teaching is good. It mainly depends on the faculty, you are lucky if you get the good teachers for your section. The curriculum is a bit out dated and they should include newer technologies.
The placements are great but the placement rules are a bit strict. More than 66 percent were placed in mechanical in 2023. The highest package in mechanical was around 9LPA. The process was fine but once a person gets a placement they cannot sit for other companies in the same pay range.
I got in through COMEDK and my fees was around 2L per annum. Nri’s have 4L per annum and it is around 80k if you get in through KCET. They charge extra fees for exams every semester around 1600. Only the labratory and application based courses were worth the money not the theory.
You’ve got everything in the campus. You can sit and study in the library late nights before exams. Students have many extracurricular activities and clubs going on all the time it’s hard to keep a track.
The college infrastructure is fairly good with well furnished classrooms and well stocked libraries. We have labs equipped with the all the required tools. The campus provides outstanding sports facilities for a holistic educational experience. If I'm gonna talk about hygiene...oh my gosh...u can see them cleaning almost every single day!!
My course is Electronics and Telecommunications. I got in thru KCET, which is why I decided to join the college. Since we are jus in our first year... it seems good so far. The first year teachers were highly dedicated individuals who had a passion for teaching and that jus made it exciting to learn. And sure, some teachers were super chill and let us bunk classes too. So overall...it was pretty balanced.
As far as I know, the placements have jus started in our college so there's a long way to go to be able to tell about the exact details. My senior friends have been placed in good companies with great packages. To be honest I'm not entirely aware about the process
It costed around 1.2L and yes the facilities are really worth it. The college provides a lot of opportunities with hackathons and seminars n talks given by professionals. If u are using the facilities it is totally worth it.
There are a variety of clubs ranging from technical to non technical that caters to every individuals interest. We have an entire department dedicated just for extra curricular activities. But since the DECA head changed recently, nothing much is happening in collehe...hopefully it will change soon. N spoiler alert: we haven't had a fest for the past 4yrs? so that sucks... The teachers and staff are generally pretty chill...
Clean and adequate infrastructure. Wi-Fi, spacious and efficient libraries, sports facilities and clean hostels. Canteen is pure veg and has a big seating area. Adequate parking for two and four wheelers in campus.
I am specialising in mechanical engineering and is going to pass out in 2024. The curriculum is upto date and the faculty is helpful in nature. The academics work on the guidelines of the university and being autonomous has given a plethora of advantages.
Placements is a long process and depends on how the market condition is. If it’s stable then placements in Ramaiah Institute of Technology is above average. The core placements which might not be good in number of students placed does have good companies coming for recruitment in which the top percentile gets placed.
As I am comedk, my per year fee is around two lakhs. Fee for KCET students is under one lakh. For the amount I’m paying, I’m getting decent returns but compared to other private colleges, the fee is not nominal nor extra.
The college has stopped hosting fests since 2020 due to Covid. All club activities have been minimised and the college only celebrates Karnataka Rajyotsava. In terms of campus leniency, it’s one of the most lenient engineering college in Bangalore and the campus life after college is amazing.
Admission into circuit branches in this college can yield a safer return but admission into core will require you to stay in the top percentile of the batch for a good return. All in all, the college faculty is very supportive in all endeavours of academics.
The infrastructure is ok but can be made better the classroom can have better benches and lab equipments. The college has sports facilities. But can be improved as there is less space for the students to effectively play.
The college has qualified professors and academics is focused with great concern though it's a little unorganised in terms of schedule making. The departments provide high class knowledge based studies.
The college has good placement and track record in terms of jobs and internships. The placements in the college in the year 2022 were excellent specially in my branch there was 100% placement and 2023 so far has been excellent.
The infrastructure can be improved in terms of the fees that is being paid . The college is good if you have cleared exam and come like kcet but the facilities to the students are comparatively less to the north India for the same money.
The crowd in the campus is very good due to which the college environment stays high though the fest organisation in the college can be increased. The clubs in RIT are active and organise small events here and there but the annual fest is long awaited which is known to be the best fest in Bangalore.
It is a good college and despite of anything you will be proud to be a passout of ramaiah institute of technology. The college will give you proper roller coaster ride but will make you a better person and engineer in the end.
The college is really well maintained and is cleaned regularly. However the labs are outdated and a lot of the equipment is not in working condition. The canteens are hygenic and so are the washrooms. The libraries have most of the books recommended to us. A variety of sports facilities are also provided
I studied chemical engineering and I feel like the curriculum provided helped me in my master's. The number of electives provided are very minimal dude to which we can't actually study what we want to
The quality of placements is very poor for my branch. Very few companies come for core jobs and most of the people in my branch took IT jobs. About 20% of the students were placed. The placement office would not say that the company is looking for chemical engineers even though the company was actually looking for them
The course costed about 80k per year. I feel like since the lab equipment did not actually work and since we weren't actually being prepared for the real world I did not get my money's worth.
The teachers are not very supportive when it comes to extra curriculars. However the canteen and other places are really good to hangout. The college is in a safe area and the campus is very nice. However fests were never held in campus and weren't encouraged
The college experience was very good however the teaching and labs could be improved. Fests could be provided so that the students can enjoy their college life and not only focus on studies. The curriculum was very helpful.
Overall infrastructure is nice, very nice canteen you get good hygienic food, labs are also very well organised although the instruments and equipments can be more up to date , very nice and big quadrangle we also have ramaiah ground but that is 800 meters away from the college.
carriculum is really nice for IEM, That is industrial engineering and management which is a baby mechanical branch in which we study both basics of mechanical and basics of management. industrial visits are less and can be included more in 2nd and 3rd years.
For computer science and Information science engineering the placements are nice with avg package of almost 12 lpa with nice companies coming in. for non circuit branches placements are okayish. for IEM people placments are not the first priority because most of them always loook for further studies.
my course that was industrial engineering and management costed around ninety thousand per month for CET students and for students coming via COMEDK the fees is around 2,00,000. value for money depends upon your perspective so if you want learning and all or you want a nice placement.
we have a big quadrangle right in between the campus with benches to sit and also a lot of clubs and committee are there to participate and to shine on your extracarricular like , comedy club, quiz club etc. location is nice that is in the heart of bangalore with decent enough hostel facilities for boys.
College has a nice infrastructure, having good quadrangle, nice classrooms, good washrooms, decent labs with all the equipments , although it ca n be more up to date with time, hostels for first years are nice for boys.
Industry exposure could be better , but faculties are very nice with alot of academic excellence and seminars are also conducted for all the students and help alot for students who have interest inthe field.
CSE and ISE Placements are always nice and people get ample amount of opportunities to prove themselves and get good placements.for branches like mechanical and civil it is bit difficult bt still opportunities are there.
College fees is around 2 lakhs per annum for students coming via comedk and around 90,000 for students coming via CET , you can get placements upto 25/26 Lakhs per annum if you grab the opportunities. Facilities are also nice but the college does needs a bit revamp.
Ramaiah campus is around 80 acres including the medical side and the engineering side is around 30 acres , location is nice it's in the heart of Bangalore you ca visit the website for exact locatio. And hospitals and all are also easily accessible.
Nice classrooms , Nice canteen , Nice quadrangle , separate buildings for different departments , college have different labs but some of the equipments are pretty old. college ground is like 800 meters from college otherwise there is no issue.
I did my mechanical engineering from RIT , some professors are really experienced and explain all the concepts nicely , seminars are conducted sometimes by visiting faculties. you will always get your basics right.
For an engineering college placement is nice, CSE and ISE branches have very nice placements and core branches also gets decent placement, there are opportunities for everyone to shine on . placement process is pleasant, and college is supprotive.
my course costes 2 lakhs per annum, if you come through CET the fees is around 90,000. more or less it is worth the money as it does provide you with alot of facilities and exposure to many things which can be helpful in life.
campus life is amazing, there is alot of extracarricullar activities happening all around the college all around the year, location is also nice as it is in the IT hub , just next to our college there is ramaiah memorial hospital.
