Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Dear applicant out of the two selected colleges of yours first let us discuss on RVCE, overall a very good college with improved infrastructure, good faculties, great facilities, placements with salary packages from 7 LPA to 9 LPA and more. MSRIT is also a wise option but if you consider the fee structure the placements will not satisfy your expectations. But the teachers are really good. Now if you think of your curriculum, Electronics and Electrical Engineering would be the better one from RVCE. Hope it helps,
Good luck !!

Yes, I certainly support your Teachers advice. Incase you secure CSE or IT in any of the Top 3 Colleges in Bangalore be it RVCE, BMSCE or MSRIT, you may definitely prefer that over VIT Vellore. Being located near IT and Technology Hubs of Bangalore as well as Research Hubs like IISc Bangalore, will provide immense career scope, project and placement prospects in future.
Otherwise CSE at VIT Vellore is one of the best considering Placements, Faculty and Infrastructure across Private Engineering Universities.

You have some year drop doesn't make you unlikely. In the present day , competition there are many students who drop for betterment of their rank and its absolutely ok with that.
Companies like Google , Microsoft practically doesn't care about degree. If you have a programming skill and you have no degree , you can go for their walk in interviews and if you are potent they will surely hire you.
Now if these companies doesn't care about this degree , due you really think that your 3 year drop will matter to them?
Don't feel your head with fuzzy thoughts. Start gaining knowledges in your course work and develop industrial skills , you will get placed in Google / Microsoft. Your knowledge is important not your history.
Have a great eve!

Hope it helps.
Stay safe.
Best wishes.
When I graduated, the ECE building was falling apart. The library was understocked as well. I see they've made improvements recently so its better now. The Wifi was unreliable and the gym was subpar. The labs were well stocked though. The food used to be good in my first year but declined along the way.
Infrastructure is great with advanced labs, smart classes, and good speed Wi-Fi. Library is among the best regarding offering great resources to students of technology. The hostels are comfortable, but private rooms near campus are also preferred
Good, All departments have their own individual building this making it more spacious. The college boasts a well-maintained infrastructure with modern classrooms equipped with smart boards, a spacious and well-stocked library, dedicated labs for each department featuring updated equipment, and a large, well-maintained sports ground, providing ample opportunities for both academic pursuits and extracurricular activities
