• Before getting an admission in RV engg college you need to attempt any of the below mentioned exam
• KCET( you need to score around 300-400)
• COMEDK( score must be 300-400)
• If you don't want to give any of the examination there one way to get admission through management quota where the fees will be higher.

Congratulations for you rank. There are only a few seats available for lateral entry according to the seat matrix. But according to the previous year cuoff trend, you will definitely get a seat in the top colleges, which include RV, PES and BMSCE as well. Cutoffs vary every year due to change in the difficulty level of the paper, no of seats available, no of students appearing for the exam and counselling. So apply for the counselling and try your luck. Hope you get your desired college.

According to their official notice dated in 2018, "A student can drop a course under the guidance of the counselor if the counselor and parent feel that the student cannot cope up with all the courses. This dropping of course shall be intimated to the Dean (Academics) through the HoD, before the dropping date as announced in the calendar of events. However the total credits should not fall short of 16 (sixteen) credits which are the minimum number of credits to be registered per semester. The dropped courses are not recorded in the Grade Card. This facility is not applicable for first year students."

They have mentioned that a 1st year student is not allowed to withdraw or drop any course.

let me clear your doubt. The highest placement of RVCE college ,banglore is 39.12 lakh. And the average package is ten to twelve lakh.

The cutoff for RV college of engineering was 306 for general category. And around 2000  for SCG category.
