Hello Yamuna,
Based on your ranking if u belong to general merit category ,im afraid you would not be able to make it into RVCE.However if u belong to any reserved category chances are there that u might get the sub branches i.e.IEM ,BIOTECH,INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING and a very small percentage of chances of TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING.However please do not loose hope and proceed to all the option entry rounds including the casual round as there will be students who forfeit their seats due to getting a seat form an other source ot students get into medical leaving their engineering seats. Please refer to the cuttoff ranks of previous yeats for more details.
hope it helps
thank you
It depends on which college is been chosen.if it's in Bangalore you may opt for alliance University,Jain University,RV institute of technology,MS Ramaiah university of applied sciences .in this colleges the total fees may come within the range of 3-5 lakhs per year including donation.but it maybe little more in college like RV but after first year fees get little reduced.
If you are opting other colleges such as Thapar,LPU it maybe a bit more fees.
All the best for your college selection process
Which rank is it like the exam in which you got this rank.

Hello Ilika,
Few of the pros and cons of Biotechnology are,
RVCW boasts modern infrastructure with well equipped classrooms, state of the art labs, spacious hostels and abundant green spaces. it provides a conductive evironment for academic and personal growth.
When I graduated, the ECE building was falling apart. The library was understocked as well. I see they've made improvements recently so its better now. The Wifi was unreliable and the gym was subpar. The labs were well stocked though. The food used to be good in my first year but declined along the way.
Infrastructure is great with advanced labs, smart classes, and good speed Wi-Fi. Library is among the best regarding offering great resources to students of technology. The hostels are comfortable, but private rooms near campus are also preferred
