Not suggested for anyone looking for serious education. Good if you want to chill, bunk classes and fool around in general but if you're serious about an education, I wouldn't recommend this place. There are many better colleges in and around Kolkata and Howrah.

I am a former student in Seacom Engineering College. In academic point of view,I would like to say that the faculties are not experienced and trained well enough to excel your skill and knowledge ,which is very necessary not only for a B.Tech level but for higher studies too. They adopt many vague approaches just to complete the syllabus. But faculties of CSE department are quite well.In placement area, you will be offered by some MNC but most of them are offering a voice processing or BPO job which is nothing but a tight slap for an engineering student. The placement advertisements shown at the college website are mostly related to voice processing. If you have already taken the admission then don't need to panic. If you do a self-study in a consistent way,you will definitely secure a good mark and can try for an off campus drive or other as you have put aside as your career option.

It’s a bad college with no placements

I do not recommend this college to anyone. Its all lies promises made to the students. We did get training but placement is bad. No classes are held, the principal does not bother about students only gossiping with few faculties in the office. It has a nice infrastructure. Quality and experienced faculty. Good exposure to the industry. Various cultural activities are performed.
