SIT has a commendable placement record for its B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The highest package offered was 51 lpa to a microsoft olaced student and the average package ranges from 4-6 lpa. Around 70-80% students get placed with some batches achieving nearly 85-90% placement rates.

Siliguri Institute of Technology’s B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering program costs around 4.5-7 lakhs for the entire 4 year duration. Yearly fees is approximately 2 lacs. Semester wise fees is 64k-98.5k.

Our college boasts a well-planned and modern infrastructure that enhances both academic and student life. Spacious and well equipped classrooms, state of the art laboratories and a resource rich library create an excellent academic environment.

Academics is good, teachers are friendly and helpful with notes, throrough revision of syllabus is down more than one time. Extra classes are also taken for weak students and for the students who are facing doubts.

I have got placement from this college only and this job opportunity has been one of my greatest career success as this step lead me to grow in life. Many of my friends have been recruited from this college only and now they are in great positions.

Great infrastructure but placements need to improve . Had an amazing experience with every one ot there enjoyed a lot , had lots of fun everything about the college was great . The foods was very hygienic and the places were clean .

The college has always beleived in helping and guiding the students in all the fields . Regular classes held at our college helps us with our aptitude and technical skills were of great help . The college gave us many opportunities that were full of fun with the acedemic grind one has to go through.

Our college has introduced the various students development club and placement training program at the right time which gave strength to our placements in good companies . Our college use of tecnology for greater extent .

Infrastructure of my college is great. There are sufficient fans in every classrooms and the washrooms are also clean and hygiene. The campus is very pretty with greenery with fresh air to breathe. Computer labs are also clean with proper working computers.

When it comes to academics my college is very strict and responsible. The professors are very helpful and provides us with sufficient study notes and materials. Professors also conducts extra classes or doubt clearance classes for the students who are facing problems.

This year 2025 many of my seniors have achieved placements in top companies like microsoft, Deloitte, nykaa, cognizant, amazon etc. Not only this year but also every year students shine with new opportunities from my college.

The college infrastructure and facilities are decent and not too much great.There are sufficient equipments in the college for all the students. The college wifi isn't working at all and pretty bad.There are no hostel in our college and there is only some pgs available near our college. There are a lot of canteens nearby where the food is cheap and tasty.

Im studying btech in computer science in Siliguri institute of technology. My overall experience is good not too much great but average. Some teachers are very good in their skills but some are very bad. Our curriculum isn't updated at all and same curriculum is following from last 5 years. Im currently in first year in which we study about all domain not specially in computer science so I don't know if that helps in placement.

The placement of our college is pretty bad. Only few companies approach our college and they only select people with good cgp and smart students. The college helps us to prepare for placement but it depends on us on how we prepare for it. I think only 50% of students get placed from our college. I think the average salary offered is 5 lpa to 6 lpa.

My course cost about 1,80,000 per year and it's totally not worth it because the infrastructure of the college , the facilities is not upto the mark. The placement record is not good at that fees and we are not getting any hostel in our college.

There are a lot of college fest that occur in our college and mostly students participate in that fest. Recently our college had annual fest in which Indian singers came to perform here.Our college has annual sports where we can participate in different sport activities and students from different college came here to participate and play alot of sports. Overall the campus life is good.

The college infrastructure is nice it have a separate building for first year students, a basketball court, football ground, seminar hall , multiple canteens all the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and desh are new and comfortable.

All the teachers have multi year experience and are good in teaching but sometimes during the classes they shifts to the native language bangali not allowed the tecahers do this but sometimes it happens still after the class the takes our dought and explains us the concept in english

The placements of the college as per the fees they take is nice we can't aspect companies like Google or Netflix although Microsoft do come the the college and as per what we have told offers a package of nearly 10 lpa many students are also hired by mass recruiters

If you take college via merit I think you should join it the fees is around 6.6 lakh for 4 years although under management they take 8 lakh for years so you may reconsider it

The infrastructure of our college is good as the laboratories and classrooms are well-equipped with world-class technology. The quality of food available in a mess is also good. College library is also good and has ample books for students. The college organises sports tournament from time to time to promote sports among students.

Most of the faculty members are well qualified and have good knowledge and command over there subjects. Teaching quality is good in our College. The course curriculum is relevant and is as per the norms of West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata.

Placements are average here. the highest salary package offered is around 10LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA. Most of the students got selected by mass recruiters like TCS, etc. About 60-65% of students got placed in campus placements

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are well-equipped and can accommodate 100 students. The library is equipped with thousands of books and book bank is also in our college. There is a basketball court in the centre of the campus. There is also a gym facility. Labs are well-equipped and have advanced technology.

All the faculty are good and helpful. There are good faculty members available in all the departments. Especially the faculty members of the computer science department are good and have good knowledge. All faculty members are quite helpful

The placement cell of the college is quite good. Many of the big companies come here to recruit students. They offer good packages to the students. Some of the big companies are Mcafee, Intel, TCS, Infosys etc. However, the placement opportunities offered for our class are also good.

The facilities are good. There are available labs for programming. Infrastructure is also good. The classrooms are big enough with a very neat and clean environment. Separate library section is there in our college. The quality of facilities in our hostels is average. The quality of food is moderate. In our college, separate medical facilities are there. So facilities are good. There is a separate basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court. There is also a gym separated section in our college

The teachers were so helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was too good. And we used to learn many things from them regarding study and all. This course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry ready.

Moreover 60% students were placed in my course. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA. Byjus, TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc. companies visits every year in our college. The companies they got job in gave them internship opportunities. There were many roles that were offered in the course. Many seminars and sessions were taken on various projects and all.

The facilities in my college hostel are of high quality, offering good food and medical services. The campus provides Wi-Fi and sports facilities, including a basketball field, a football field, and a cricket field. Medical facilities and a canteen are also available on the campus

The teachers are highly helpful and qualified. The course curriculum is deemed relevant, and students are well-prepared. The pass percentage is impressive at 90%. Semester exams are conducted year-wise, and the question papers are considered average. Students at our college are well-prepared to secure internships.

my course, 80% of students were successfully placed, with the highest package at 12 LPA and the lowest at 4 LPA. Notable companies like Airtel, Vodafone, Intel, and many others conducted placements, and 70% of students secured internships
