Placements are good if you are from a Computer science based departments but if it comes to core Electrical it reduces to nearly half the companies visiting and if in Mechanical/ Civil then it goes down to quarter the chance of CSE. If you wanted to get placed in Core companies you will be less likely be able to get it from the campus.
