it is compulsory to have maths in class 12th if youwant to pursue ba eco honours or bsc. Eco honours. My advice to you would be to choose maths in class 12th as in most of the colleges it is required. But also you can find some other colleges

Yes you definitely have a good chance. According to last year trends as you are from SC category you do have a good chance for clearing the waiting list. Still it may vary depending on many factors
