Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello Aspirant,
It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances for any particular campus or branch because the cut-offs keep on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-
*** number of candidates appeared in KCET 2022
*** difficulty level of the paper
*** top score for KCET 2022
*** total number of seats available for admission and so on
However, on the basis of previous year's cut-off you have GOOD chances to get ECE branch in Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering Mysuru because last year the closing rank in Round 1st was around 28k for ECE branch .
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-cutoff
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hello Aspirant,
Comparing two colleges has always been a tough assignment and will remain so. I am comparing both these based on common domains like placements, faculty, infrastructure, etc.
Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering
Founded in 1963, Mysore is a private institution having about 32 courses. It is AICTE identified and placements are top-notch( 76- 85%). It provides a satisfactory essence for study. There are other facilities like library, cate, sports room, gymnasium, med facilities, labs, auditorium, etc. The total number of offers made was around 700-800 every year. There is an upward trend in these offers.
ECE dept earned the second-greatest number of offers. The successful companies that offered several roles to the learners are Microsoft, Sony, Tech Mahindra, Toshiba, Infosys, ITC, Intel, Titan, etc. Fees are INR 76.3 k. The leading salary was INR 32 LPA, standard and lowest were INR 5 and 3 LPA respectively.
Vidyavardhaka Coll. of Engrg.
founded in 1997 is a private institution with better infrastructure and faculty members. It has 12 courses. It is a NAAC A grade and AICTE validated institution. Placements are decent as compared to the above college. The salary proposed to the recent pass-out students was smaller as correlated to the salary of earlier passed out students. The firms that came by are Infosys, Parect Solutions, GlobalLogic, Accenture, BSR INFRATECH, Intimetec, Data Core India Ltd., etc. The standard salary offered was INR 3.6 LPA.
It has additional hostel and wi-fi campus facilities along with labs, cafes, library, gym, etc., It also provides a promising aura for study. Fees are INR 11 Lakh for all academic years.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
Dear aspirant,
As far as your rank is concerned which is 28k in comedk but as you have'nt got your seat in first round of allotment let me tell you that kindly wait for further rounds there are good chances that you will get a seat.
However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
You can see the previous years trends to get the insights of the college.

If you are particularly focusing on placements then I will suggest VVCE college in Mysore as it is having a very good placement percentage report. NIE Koorgalli is basically a growing college, so the placement is not so good. ATME college placement performance report is not much appreciable. You can also check about the placements of these colleges individually by going through some articles of Careers360 based on the same and I think after this you can drawn a conclusion about joining.
Thank you.

Good infrastructure with a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The classrooms are smart, and the labs are good. The college also supports sports and cultural activities. Hostels are good with nice food offered. Medical facilities are available in case of emergency. The quality of the food available in the hostel is good
Infrastructure in our college is good. We have very good lab facilities, even in some of our labs ACs are installed. Teaching staff and lab assistants are well-trained. The classrooms and cafeteria are above average. At last, even though the environment is good there is a lot more improvement needed
