Congratulations Rohit for a wonderful performance in XAT 2018 exam!!
Rohit you know very well that no one can exactly estimate percentile for any exam relative to marks because it is totally a relative phenomenon which depends both on your performance and other student's performance.
With your overall score of 33.7 according to last year records, you are expected to get around 95+ percentile. And as the cut-off for XLRi Jamshedpur is also 95 percentile so you have a very good chance of appearing in the second round and with an excellent performance crack it.
All the best!!
Hi Ankita! Generally, there is no specific criteria for boards in XLRI or IIMs. However, for IIMs, there is different weightage assigned for different percentage range. That too, has no specification regarding board. So don't worry about that.
The fees structure of XLRI Jamshedpur is
PGDM BM- Around 20,00000
PGDM HRM- Around 20,00000
PGDM GM- Around 18,50,000
Each campus fees structure varies so please explain for which XLRI particular campus you want to know.
TISS courses are good and HR is also recommended, TISS HR course will make you a thorough HR professional. It is different from a general HR course than in IIM's or XLRI.
TISS is a renowed for HR, curriculum of M.A from TISS is much more better than MBA from any general university. The best part is the Fieldworks are all with leading companies in diverse industries from Conglomerates to FMCG to Financial Services. There is separate summer Internship and an NGO internship as well in the course.
So I will say if you get the chance and admission then go ahead.
Good Luck.
The infrastructure of this college is way more better than other colleges they have different different buildings for different courses they have a lot of courses here they even have hostels for hostel students they have mess for food they have libraries, labs ,laboratories, computer labs, they have Wi-Fi smart classes not in all classes but as they have
XLRI Jamshedpur boasts a beautiful and modern campus. As a current student in the PGPHRM course, I find the infrastructure to be top-notch, with well-equipped classrooms, high speed internet, and dedicated study spaces.
Xavier school of management situated in jamshedpur have library is one of the most extensively stocked libraries and has almost every book an MBA student need. There is a segregation and boys not allowed in the girls hostels .
