Hello Ch Manyam,

To predict your colleges go through the link given below -

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-college-predictor

Thanku.

Hello...

Both colleges are equally good and IIT kharagpur have upper hand on IIT BHU.
But here you are comparing two different branches of two different college, so it is very difficult to choose one.
I will suggest you to choose branch on your interest because you have to read that subject in upcoming 4 years and if you are not interested in subject then you can't do well.

If you have equal interest in both subject then I will suggest you to go with ECE in IIT kharagpur due to its better scope and do minor in CSE by choosing CSE elective courses during your academics.

You can visit this link for college information :-https://www.careers360.com/university/indian-institute-of-technology-kharagpur

For further queries feel free to comment.

Hello Ankit,
Choosing a branch is completely upto you. If you are interested in Computer science engineering choose it. If you are interested in the other one choose that. If you want to choose a branch based on the packages you get right after college, then,
IIT kgp industrial design - 30-40LPA
NITR CSE - 39LPA(highest), 3LPA(lowest)
Choose wisely by considering factors like your interests and the academic areas you are good at.

Hi Aspirant,

To get non-core branch in older IITs you must have a rank less than 5k. To get a decent branch your rank should be less than 3k. Below is the link where you'll find closing and opening rank of all the IITs:

Hey, as per the normal trends, people have noticed that candidates with dual degrees get paid more. And that too from iits. Then thats a very huge plus point.

During placements, you will have a upper hand over the bachelor of technology students.
