ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD

Hi Aspirant,

IIIT Pune is much better than other newly opened IIITs. What makes IIIT Pune stand apart is that it doesn't operate inside its mentor college's campus hence has its own faculty. So the college will not face any difficulty after shifting. Moreover, IIIT Pune has its Career Development and Corporate Relations Centre, hence the college is independent when it comes to placements and has shown astounding performance.

Hey Aspirant,

First of all great choice of colleges there.  And among all the colleges in the List , I believe that NIT Nagpur will be the most promising choice for you and your career.

NIT Nagpur Stands at 54th rank in NIRF and also among the list of top 10 NITs.

Fees of 1st year- 149000

Placement- Highest-38 LPA

Average- 12 LPA

Doing a graduation in CSE from NIT would be very beneficial for you and would will be able to get job easily.

All the best!

I hope this helps!!

Dear Student,

There is not a single chance where you can get any NIT or IIIT or any GFTI whether you have qualified for JEE advance or not.

To take admission in any NIT/IIIT your percentile should more than 96 for the safe side but you have got only 71.67. So better if you participate in your state counselling or take admission in any good private institution.

you can use this predictor link to find some good colleges for yourself according to your rank.

Good Luck :)

Dear Student,

Your rank is not that much good so that you can get any NIT or IIIT of any state, one thing you can do is to participate in your state counselling and the best thing you can do is to take admission in any good private colleges with JEE mains score, as most of the colleges accept JEE mains score.

These are some good private colleges in Maharashtra where you can take admission.

  • Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering, Pune
  • SIT Pune - Symbiosis Institute of Technology
  • SIT Pune - Symbiosis Institute of Technology
  • MPSTME Mumbai - Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering
  • MIT WPU Faculty of Engineering, Pune
  • VIIT Pune - Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology

You can use this link to predict some good colleges for yourself according to your JEE mains score.

Good Luck :)

Hello Aspirant,

No on such rank it would be very difficult to get any of the good colleges like any NIT or IIITs even with lower branches like Metallurgical or EIC through Other State quota because closing EWS ranks of last year were like :-

@Other state quota

Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Una, Himachal Pradesh - Electronics and Communication Engineering (7114)

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kancheepuram - Smart Manufacturing (8090)

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology - Food Technology (11365)

@Home state quota

National Institute of Technology Agartala - Mechanical Engineering (60272)

National Institute of Technology Puducherry - Computer Science and Engineering (83715)

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So on such rank and category you have no chance to get any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/GFTIs under Other state quota so if you deserve Home state quota for some particular NITs/GFTIs then you can go for it, so I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for autonomous government colleges or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

Hi,

Among these three colleges, NIT Durgapur is far better college than other two. IIIT Sricity and IIIT Kancheepuram both are newer IIITs but NIT Durgapur is one of the prestigious NITs. If you are getting CSE in NIT Durgapur then you should take it. Since you belong to south, you will feel unfamiliar with West Bengal culture, but that would be Only for few days. Once you make friends, you will get mixed up with everyone from college.

Thanks!!!

Hello Aspirant,
