Hi

Your profile suggests that your home state is West Bengal. I am assuming that you belong to general category.

With  90 percentile

I am  sorry to tell you but with this rank you have low chances in any IIITs , NIT, even in lower ones .

For example,

Cosing rank for some of the nits for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 under other state  for general category  :-

  • National Institute of Technology Sikkim, Civil Engineering :- 47412

  • National Institute of Technology, Mizoram, Civil Engineering:- 49757

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala, Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering :- 50,010

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

From above, it is clear that you need at least a rank of around 45,000 - 50,000 to get into even lower NITs. And to get a rank in this range, you need at atleast around 95.5 - 96 percentile .

Hello Candidate,

Are interested to get admission into the National Institute of Technology or Indian Institute of Information Technology colleges in any part of the country then you have to mandatorily give the JEE Mains examination and their registered yourself for the josaa counselling process and there is no such service provider which directly provides admission into this colleges.

In the josaa counselling process first of all you have to fill up a list of preferred choices and submitted to the committee before the actual counselling starts. In the counselling rounds you are provided with various college options based on your preference list and you have a choice to either select or go for the rounds if you feel for a better college upgradation.

Hope you found it helpful. If you have any further queries feel free to post it here!!

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have got 72 percentile and you wanted to go for iiits. So, taking into consideration that you belong to the sc category so you have fair chances for some of the iiits

Iiits like bhagalpur ,bhopal are suitable for you and top iiits like kota, allahabad there is very less chances for even lower branches.

For more information you can check out the link given below-

Hello Aspirant,

As of now JEE-Main rank list is not yet declared because ranks are only released in the JEE-Main final result and admission to IIITs are taken on the basis of JEE-Main rank so if this is your expected ST rank of JEE-Main then answer will be given according to it.

So on such rank and category you have good chances to get the enlisted IIITs :-

  • Pt. Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacture Jabalpur - Electronics and Communication Engineering (2997)
  • Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)Kota, Rajasthan - Computer Science and Engineering (3562)
  • Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati - Computer Science and Engineering (3333)

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2021 result :-

You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-off (expected) for JEE-Advance 2021 from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Dear student,

As you have not mentioned the category so I will consider you general category student.

On 72 percentile , your expected general rank will be 286440 - 322000.

You can check your rank yourself by going through our rank predictor tool. Below I am attaching the link for it.

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Now on the rank you are getting is unfortunately not enough to get an IIIT and the major reason being most of IIITs have only circuital branch which have high cutoff. You can participate in CSAB counseling and maybe you get some IIITs seat as unexpected things can happen in CSAB counseling.

To check the list of all the colleges of your rank range, you can go through the college predictor tool designed by our team.

Belo I am pasting the link for it.
