Hello STudent

You want to cancell your admission after 3months .It is possible though some procedure of norms to be maintained by the candidate.

The student has to apply the authority of the college

with requisite document and showing the proof of  reason for leaving the college or cancelling is admission in that college.

Authority of the college give the permission to the candidate for withdrawing his candidacy or cancelling his admission. The candidate has to apply for cancellation of admission within the 30 days of the last date of admission then candidate will get back 50 percent of admission fees diposited by the student.

If the cancellation date  is more than 30 days of the last date of admission then the candidate will get back only  caution money  or some amount of money which was deposited other than admission fee immediately.

Hope hope this helps.

Hello there,
According to the previous year data, you need to score atleast 95 percentile to get a seat in the top NITs and IIITs in the country. For CSE branch, your percentile should be atleast 98 in your category to ensure your seat in the college. Your category rank must be within 5000 to get CSE in the top NITs and IIITs. Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.
You can use our college predictor to predict the best college for you:

thankyou.

Hi

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 ,  closing rank for gender neutral for iiit kalyani west Bengal   provided below :-

  • Computer science :- 36362

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

And 36362 is around 97 percentile. So, you should try to get 97 percentile if you want to get a seat in IIITs.

you can use rank predictor for the same at

Dear student,

Overall rank you may get for your JEE Mains Paper-1 percentile is between 319176 - 358800. With this percentile it is difficult to get seat in IIIT Bangalore. Because to get admission in IIITs one should have 98+ percentile. If you want you can try in Private Engineering colleges which gives admissions through JEE Mains rank or else you can go for management seats. You can try for next attempt and work hard well.
Tips to get good percentile:
1) Give mock tests so that your score can increase.

2) Prepare notes by yourself to gain confidence.

3) Concentrate on formulae and important concepts.

4) You can concentrate on the topics which you missed in last attempt.

5) Give more importance to topics which has more weightage.

6) Avoid negative marking by answering only the questions you know answers properly.

7) Practice previous years question papers.

8) Make a time table and study accordingly.

You can boost your rank using rank booster.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course because there is no restriction on withdrawing the admission even if you have completed an year from that college, so if you want to change your college than you have to withdraw your admission from the college where you are currently studying then you have to write an application to the management of that college and you should take all your documents back from that college and as you have mentioned that you have appeared for JEE-Main 2021 this year, so to predict the different colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main 2021 result you can use JEE-Main 2021 College Predictor :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

You can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

How the final result will be calculated for those who are appearing for more than one attempt of JEE-Main 2021 :-

> The best out of four JEE Main scores will be taken into consideration for final result.

> All India rank in JEE Main 2021 will be allotted to you on the basis of your best of four percentiles. Let me make you clear with an example, suppose you have got 90 percentile in first attempt, 92 in second, 89 in third and 94 in fourth, so your final result will be made by taking the best result which is of 94 percentile so your final percentile would be 94 and ranking will be given to you according to it.

> As per your category, if you belongs to any reserved category then you will have CRL (Common Rank List) Rank as well as category rank of your respective category.

The final result will get declared after JEE Main May session.
