Hi aspirant,
You have obtained 85 percentile in JEE Main and your corresponding rank is 85,000. It would be difficult for me to tell you your exact possibilities without knowing your category. Unless you belong to some reserved categories then getting admission in NITs or IIITs is tough for you. But if you have categories then you might get admission in NITs or IIITs. You can predict your college and branch options based on this percentile or rank by using the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link; https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope it helps you.

Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the top NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can get some of the lower NITs like NIT Goa, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Puducherry if you deserves Home state quota for them but if not then I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
