Dear Student,
by looking at previous years cutoff records, for your above mentioned rank and category, you will be eligible for admission to some of the top NITs and IIITs, but the chances of getting some of the top branches are a little slim. However you would be able to get branches such as Information Technology etc.

Hi there,
Firstly your percetile score is too low if you belong to general category, hence you won't get all these college.
Secondly you can give jee mains 6 times that is 2 times in a year and for consecutive 3 years . Therefore your two attempts are left.
But you can't give the boards improvement for the second time if you can't score more than 75% in your improvement then you don't have any options left, if next year the government stops this 75% eligibility again then you should score more than 96+ percetile to get into your aspired college other wise there are other options as well.
You can check that using our college predictor tool

Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the top NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can get some lower NITs like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Goa, NIT Silchar and so on if you deserves home state quota for them. But if not then I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors. You can refer to the link given below to know more about colleges on loe rank :-

Hello,
See if you are getting top branches like CSE, ECE, IT, then you can go for these NITs else you should prefer IIITs.
These new IIITs are continuously developing and their average package is increasing with every passing year. Course curriculum is great.
In my opinion IIIT Vadodara=IIIT Kota>IIIT Guwahati>NIT Arunachal>NIT Sikkim>NIT Manipur

Hello Student,
A rank of 100500 is a it low. Due to the competition increasing by the minute everyday, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. Hence, unfortunately the top nits and IITs would be tough to get into with this score. Also other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes ( CFTIs) such as the IIITs also would be a bit tough. There might be some chances of you getting into newer NITs such as NIT Andhra Pradesh or NIT Pondicherry into courses that are relatively lesser in demand such as metallurgy.
There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into. Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities. But due to the high competition it would be advisable to apply to other universities.
Some other good universities with this rank would be:
1. SSN College of Engineering, Chennai
2. SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur
3. Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh
4. Delhi University
5. Shiv Nadar University
6. VIT, Vellore
7. Manipal Institute of Technology
