Hello,
According to your percentile in jee mains your general rank will be close to 2. 9 lakh and with this rank you have very less chance to get seat in any NIT, GFTI and IIIT as your rank is very high.
Since you have secured 8 2.97 percentile also your Obc-ncl category rank will be too low. You will not get any NITs, IIITS and GFTIs due to low rank. You may get admission in some private colleges.
With this score you may be eligible for JEE Advance but chances seems less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs.
NOTE: The Rank Predicted is on the basis of the expected total number of students appearing in the JEE Mains 20 21 . It can vary from the actual rank.
You can also use JEE Main college Predictor tool to know your admission possibilities.

Hello,
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:
You should consider IIIT Gwalior above IIITDM Kancheepuram.
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.
Good luck, hope it helps!!

Hi,
SASTRA university's placement drives have witnessed some big giants recruiting from its campus in the past such as Accenture, Oracle India Ltd, IBM Corporation, ICICI, ABN Amro, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, etc.The highest salary offered to BTech CSE and IT graduates is the highest among all BTech specialisations and ranges between Rs 23 LPA and Rs 29 LPA.The average package offered is 9.25 LPA.
IIITDM Jabalpur has an excellent placement record and the placement demographics are increasing every year. For the previous year, 267 students were placed in the BTech programme and 97 students were placed in the MTech programme. Several top companies visited the campus amongst which Infosys recruited 41 students. The highest CTC was recorded to be Rs 36.6 LPA while the average salary was calculated to 7.41 LPA.CSE , Mechanical,ECE engineering students got placed more.
Hope it helps you.
Hello Aspirant! If you are interested in research, innovation, and higher studies, IIIT Delhi is definitely a better choice among the three. But if you are interested in placement, infrastructure, and college life, should prefer NSIT or DTU for an engineering degree.
In IIIT Delhi, every company visiting the campus for placement allows CSE, CSAM, and ECE branches and almost 75% of them allow CSD, CSB, and CSSS. Although there is a downfall in placement percentage at DTU and NSIT due to the COVID pandemic, they are still in a better position than IIIT Delhi. DTU and NSIT are known for their great placement opportunities (NSIT slightly over DTU). Its not that placements are low at IIITD but less as compared to the other two (DTU and NSIT). So, at last if you're interested in research, and want a good depth knowledge in your subject then go for IIIT Delhi or else DTU is far better than any other college.
Hope this helps.

Hi.
Here is a quick review for IIIT Kota:
Maximum package is 43 LPA in CSE, with 10.06 LPA average package and 95.65% percent students were placed.
IIIT Kota is mentored by Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. The Training and Placement (TAP) Cell of the institute facilitates industrial training, on-campus placement drive and internship for the students. Information regarding interview dates, selection procedure and job offers is announced by the TAP Cell from time to time. Around 200 companies visit the campus for placements every year.
Some of the major recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Cvent, MAQ Software, etc.
You need to compare this data along with any other NIT that is your alternative and decide which one is better for you.
Good Luck
