Considering its reputation and ranking the infrastructure is poor. Few toilets are unusable. We don't really have any kind of sanitary machines, not even a medical shop in university campus (fyi we have a whole sbi bank in the campus).
The University is built on fifty to sixty acres land. In our physics department we have three buildings one is for undergraduate and the other is for post graduate and another one is for both undergraduate and post graduate.We have labs for students of both undergraduate and post graduate that include Optics lab mechanical lab and electronics lab. Our department also has a canteen. We have a library for physics department that contains variety of books like Mathematics books, physics books, and a few collection of computer science books.
Hello, in Jadavpur University some departments conduct their own entrance examinations, which might not be dependent on your HS results. However, JU's cutoffs for Arts and Science subjects mainly range from 480 to 495, and Engineering admission depends on the WBJEE rank, and not on HS results. Hope this helps!

For admission to the Information Technology (IT) department at Jadavpur University, the cutoff ranks are quite competitive.

With a WBJEE rank of 22,259 and an SC rank of 1,996 you have a good chance of getting into Jadavpur University if you are a West Bengal domicile. If you are a WB domicile then your SC rank becomes the deciding factor, and based
