UPES B.Tech Admissions 2026
ApplyRanked #43 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest Package 1.3 CR , 100% Placements
Dear aspirant,
Nsut delhi is a very good college for BTech . It comes under one of the top colleges in delhi after iit delhi. Its average package is 11-12 lakhs per annum. You will be admitted on the basis of jee mains rank. After all the four session is conducted and your result is declared then the application form will be available.
Hello deepak
I hope you are doing good. I would like to know you that placements are almost same in nsit and dtu in civil stream . The highest package went around 18 lakhs for civil in dtu and its varies around 2-3 lakhs every year depending on the batch . The average of civil stream is around 7.5 to 8 lakhs . Almost 95 percent students get placed every year as it is tier 1 college and rest remaining either look for off campus placement and go for higher studies

Thankyou
Hello Aditya
I hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that at your percentile your estimated will be around 141000 . At this rank it would be very difficult to get admission in DTU ,NSIT or even at mam with general category. In order to get admission in these reputed colleges your all india rank should be below 20000 . My personal advise is to prepare for next attempt by making a proper roadmap because i think you will need to study atleast 10 hours with pure dedication.
you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

Hello,
Please check the cut off in 2020 for JAC round 5 counselling for general category to get admission in Mechanical Engineering
It is difficult to predict the exact percentile or score. Because the marks vs rank vs percentile trends changes every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, highest score, tie breakers etc.
Based on rank predictor tool which works as per previous year data you need to score 97-98 percentile to score a rank within 50,000. And to score such percentile your ideal score must be minimum 150-190 marks or above in JEE main. This is an estimated score.
Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.

Hello Dear,
Yes the chances of getting any branch in any NIT is high but you should wait for the official cutoff. On this marks your percentile must be between 99.85 - 99.89 and general rank between 1367 - 979 . Your chances of getting NIT or other government college like NSIT in your desired branch is high Although you have not mentioned the category in which you applied. Last year cutoff for NSIT was around under 3000.

But as you know the cutoff changes every years because it depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination hence varies every year depending on these factors. It also depends on home state and other state as you have not mentioned your home state. You can check out your rank on the basis of your score from the below link.

I would recommend that you should wait for the official declaration of the cutoff rank. Meanwhile you can check the below link to know about previous years cutoff trend.

Dear student,
The priority of the hostels will be first given to the outside delhi students. But still you can also get the hostel in nsit delhi. For hostel you must have to apply for the hostel. Also you can get mang pg best the nait Delhi. There is a 95% chance that you will get the hostel. So, even if you are resident kf delhi, you can get the hostel but the chances will be some what less than the other students who are outside delhi region.
Dear aspirant,
As you all come outside Delhi state the cut off is tremendously high so atleast on a minimum case you need to score 99.4-99.5 percentile to get a seat in nsit . But still you should try to stay on a higher side to be safe.

NSUT Delhi has been admitting students to its undergraduate programmes on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) - MAIN, which is been conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year.
I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Hi.
Admissions into NSIT and DTU for B,Tech Course is through JEE Mains exam. There is no separate examination for them, the only required condition is that you get the desired rank for the course you wish to pursue.
Good Luck
I would give 4 out 5 giving 4/5 for infrastructure feels fair because the campus delivers strong academic support with modern essentials, while a few maintenance and distance-related frictions remain. The academic blocks have well-equipped classrooms and labs that support hands-on learning; access to computing facilities, library resources, and lecture halls is generally smooth and organized. Yehi balance—functional classrooms + labs + library depth—daily learning ko reliable banata hai. Campus spread is a clear positive: open, green spaces, dedicated sports areas, and a structured layout make movement logical and campus life active. Sports grounds, indoor facilities, and basic utilities (bank/ATM, medical support, helpdesks) ensure routine needs are addressed without derailing study schedules—matlab infrastructure day-to-day rhythm ko support karta hai. Hostels and connectivity add to the stability: separate accommodation blocks, campus Wi‑Fi, and common spaces help students manage academics and downtime together. Common areas and service points reduce friction during peak academic weeks—yeh subtle cheezein overall experience ko steady rakhti hain. Why not 5/5? On a large campus, walking distances between blocks can feel long, and some facilities show uneven upkeep or delayed fixes—particularly in select labs or activity areas. Kabhi-kabhi cafeteria/vendor churn and small admin delays bhi experience ko thoda affect kar sakte hain. These are not deal-breakers, but they keep it a solid 4/5 instead of flawless. Net-net, infrastructure is dependable, student-first, and aligned with academic priorities. If someone values structured learning environments, usable labs, active sports spaces, and a campus that feels like a self-contained ecosystem, NSUT’s infra genuinely delivers—4/5 is a thoughtful, grounded rating.
The campus is very big. It has modern and green campus. It has also well-maintained environment with classrooms. It has also hostel facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned amd washrooms are neat and clean.
The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like wifi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel is also nice and provides good quality food in mess and canteens.
