Hi

With 120 marks

Your obc rank will be around 14,000.

But when it comes to JAC counselling than your CRL rank is considered and not category rank

It is quite difficult to make prediction but yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

NSUT

In 10th round of JAC counselling 2020,closing crl rank for obc category in NSUT for Delhi region is given below:-

  • Computer Engineering (COE):- 39361

  • IT :- 54457

You have a bit low chances in NSUT for COE and decent chance for IT under Delhi region reservation

You can check the same at

https://cache.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/1609130378phpjG8sWk.pdf

DTU

In round 9th of jac counselling 2020 , closing crl rank for obc category for Delhi region is given below:-

  • Computer Engineering (COE):- 54515

  • IT :-68648

You have good chances in DTU  under Delhi region reservation foe computer engineering and IT.

You can check the same at

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

Thank you

Hello,

The cut of rank changes every year based on difficulty level of examination total number of candidates applied for JAC counselling, total number of seats available etc. For this reason it is quite difficult to predict the cut off for 2021 to get admission in to DTU or NSUT. In 2020 the cut off was as follows for general category

Computer Engineering

  • DTU: 11258 (Delhi Region), 3190 (Outside Delhi Region)
  • NSUT: 7362 (Delhi Region), 2734 (Outside Delhi Region)

Information Technology

  • DTU:14325 (Delhi Region), 5423 (Outside Delhi Region)
  • NSUT: 12383 (Delhi Region), 3666  (Outside Delhi Region)

As you haven't mentioned your category we assume that you belong to general category. The admission is based on All India Rank of the candidate. Considering the previous year cut off you need to score above 99 percentile to be on the safe side as cut off is subjected to change.

Hi

Your profile suggests that you are from outside Delhi i.e from Rajasthan. I am assuming you from general category.

By AI, I guess you mean Artificial Intelligence branch i. e Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)

This is a bit difficult to predict therank required in JEE mains to get a seat in nsut as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then,

In round 10 of jac counselling 2020, for general category  to get Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) ,  1513 was closing rank for outside Delhi  region student in NSUT

You can check the same at

https://cache.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/1609130378phpjG8sWk.pdf

So, you must try to get at least a rank of around 1500 .

Now, limited time is left for jee mains 2021 remaining sessions , so focus on your preparation,  go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. to help you in your preparation we have jee main knockout out for you, for which  is provided below

Thank you

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you it totally depends on you that in which course or stream you are interested in if you are interested in C.S and you are not getting the same in I.I.Ts the you may certainly try in any of the N.I.T for the same even you have good scope in both N.I.TS AND DTU/NSUT it only depends on you the how you are working hard.

Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.

All the best!

Hello,

NSIT, Delhi have 102 seats in CSE in artificial intelligence  department and 51 seats for data analyst department.  This college is very good. The highest CTC of this college from Mtech is 1.25 Crores. And the average package of this college is 7 lakh per annum. Almost 70% students got placed in every year from this college. This college ranks 76 in engineering colleges. The seats authority depends on college reputation and government and the crisis. If everything going to position way then may be in future seats capabilities are increasing in this college in CSE department.

All the best.

Hello

How much lower are we talking here ? If you're getting mechanical, electrical, civil, IT any of these mainstream braches in iit, then i would suggest go for iit. If you're are very much interested in computer science and you enjoy coding then colleges like nit are aslo not bad because you never know if you do well in computer science in a lower college then you can get a better job than doing a bad job in other subjects in iit.

So find out in which subject you're most interested because you'll have to work on that very subject for the rest of your life. Go through the syllabuses of different braches and also look at what kind of work you'll have to do after college that will make the difference. My advice would be to be career oriented not job oriented. Choose wisely.

All the best!

Student Reviews for NSUT Delhi

College Infrastructure: 4/5
Academics: 3.8/5
Placements: 4.2/5
Value for Money: 3.2/5
Campus Life: 4.2/5

ONE OF THE BEST COLLGE FOR BTECH IN DELHI

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

NSUT is located in Dwarka and it is almost connected to the main city via metro (blue line) . my college is big with a lot of trees and big ground . we have an Amul store near the APJ abdul kalam lecture thereat complex . NSUT have big classrooms which can hold a lot of student strength and labs are equipped . in short campus is big and great

A decent college

College Infrastructure

Labs are good for CS, but core branches labs doesn't live up to the expectation. Theory classes are well equipped with wifi, ac, smartboard, etc. For sports, there are enough grounds for different sports. There is also a gym, but equipments are not that well maintained.

Overall, the campus is good Enough .

College Infrastructure

Talking about infrastructure, especially the smart classes and the apj hall are well maintained with smart boards but the block classrooms are just average as it doesn't have smart boards in it. Including library, gym, sports room, canteen, laboratory everything is pretty good. Although the campus is too big , as it takes a lot of time to go from one place to another.Wifi accessibility is free for each and every student. Their is staff available at every place inside the college for cleaning purpose, so it's neat and clean even inside the restrooms and the canteen.
