Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you have some chances of getting CSE with AI in NSUT in the Defense quota as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs.
For complete details about previous year's cut-offs refer the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges based upon your percentile and category :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hi,
You have not mentioned your category. To get COE (CS is not offered in NSIT) in NSIT you need to score at least 250 for general (outside Delhi). And for Delhi domicile, you need 240–250 . This was the scenario for JEE 2018.
Every year the cut off rank i.e. closing rank varies on a number of factors. So it is safe to assume that a score above 250 should get you admission in NSIT.
As for DTU,
you need atleast a 210+ score to get CSE. Considering you are general, you need high scores to clear cutoff.
The placement in these colleges are exceptionally well!
Hello student.
Hope you are doing well.
As per the previous year cut-offs, it is difficult to get admission in either of the two due to other state quota.
But you might get admission in nsit in biotechnology field in spot councelling. You can try for that.
Also if you are looking for some other college, you can use this link to find yourself a suitable good college.

Hello,
So, between the choices given both are equally good colleges but what is important is that what you are truly interested in . I mean you have given choices between two different branches so if you are really interested in CSE then I would suggest you to go for NIT Durgapur also the placements in ECE is very tough specially if you are not exceptionally good. Both are good choices, now it depends on you.
Good luck.
hi,
see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. dtu and nsit counselling is conducts by JAC delhi, however there is separate closing rank available for delhi region candidates and students who are out side of delhi. for nsut and DTU you have less chances in any of the stream of outside delhi region ews quota. follow the below link to know in details,

I would give 4 out 5 giving 4/5 for infrastructure feels fair because the campus delivers strong academic support with modern essentials, while a few maintenance and distance-related frictions remain. The academic blocks have well-equipped classrooms and labs that support hands-on learning; access to computing facilities, library resources, and lecture halls is generally smooth and organized. Yehi balance—functional classrooms + labs + library depth—daily learning ko reliable banata hai. Campus spread is a clear positive: open, green spaces, dedicated sports areas, and a structured layout make movement logical and campus life active. Sports grounds, indoor facilities, and basic utilities (bank/ATM, medical support, helpdesks) ensure routine needs are addressed without derailing study schedules—matlab infrastructure day-to-day rhythm ko support karta hai. Hostels and connectivity add to the stability: separate accommodation blocks, campus Wi‑Fi, and common spaces help students manage academics and downtime together. Common areas and service points reduce friction during peak academic weeks—yeh subtle cheezein overall experience ko steady rakhti hain. Why not 5/5? On a large campus, walking distances between blocks can feel long, and some facilities show uneven upkeep or delayed fixes—particularly in select labs or activity areas. Kabhi-kabhi cafeteria/vendor churn and small admin delays bhi experience ko thoda affect kar sakte hain. These are not deal-breakers, but they keep it a solid 4/5 instead of flawless. Net-net, infrastructure is dependable, student-first, and aligned with academic priorities. If someone values structured learning environments, usable labs, active sports spaces, and a campus that feels like a self-contained ecosystem, NSUT’s infra genuinely delivers—4/5 is a thoughtful, grounded rating.
The campus is very big. It has modern and green campus. It has also well-maintained environment with classrooms. It has also hostel facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned amd washrooms are neat and clean.
The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like wifi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel is also nice and provides good quality food in mess and canteens.
