Hello
rockstarpratham02
, If you have an interest in electronic devices, semiconductors and like to make robotic projects, go for electronics and communication. And If you have interest in mathematics and have a knack of coding go for mechanical.

Even placement wise, both are really good branches in all the mention colleges.

Hope it will be helpful for you :)

Hello dear student,

You can keep a track of these exams online . You can surely refer to the careers360 website . Our experts are already keeping a track on all the current events happening with respect to the entrance exams and all. So likewise it will be helpful for you .

Thank you

Admission to Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is done through marks obtained in Jee Main. And Jee Main is the only way to get into NSIT. Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is one of the best Engineering colleges of India so the cutoffs of NSIT is quite higher than any other college. Now Computer Science and Engineering is one of the most demanded branches across the fields of Engineering so the cutoffs are also higher for CSE. The cutoffs also depend on various factors such as your category, if you are applying through Home state or All India Quota. You haven't mentioned your category, so considering you as a general category candidate, you need to secure a rank within 4000 rank which means at least 99.6 percentile, if this is your home state quota and for all India Quota, you must secure a rank within 1600. For IT, the closing rank lies around 8300 while for Electrical, Instrumentation, mechanical branches it is around 25000 rank. B.Tech admission to NSIT is conducted through JAC. You need to apply for counselling in the official website of JAC. Then fill up your choices and you'll be allotted a seat based on your performance in the Jee Main, availability of seats in your desired college, in desired branch etc.

hello there!

Undoubtedly BIT PATNA, BIT PATNA is better than NSIT BIHTA. and amity

Firstly, Bit patna is the extension centre of BIT MERSA and it gives you a prestigious degree of “BIT MESRA” and not Bit patna ; far better than Nsit which is afflilated to A.K.U . Secondly ,Bit patna has better placement than nsit. No substancial placements from nsit has been reported till date (max 3–4lpa)whereas in Bitp (max package in 2016 has gone to 14.5lpa) Thirdly,Bit has better infrastructure and well equipped labs than Nsit. Fourthly, and most importantly ,the environment. Bitp is located in a much better serene enverionment far away from the vociferousness of patna, whereas Nsit is located in a remote area( around 20–30 kms from patna ,)

i hope this helps

goodluck!

College Infrastructure

I would give 4 out 5 giving 4/5 for infrastructure feels fair because the campus delivers strong academic support with modern essentials, while a few maintenance and distance-related frictions remain. The academic blocks have well-equipped classrooms and labs that support hands-on learning; access to computing facilities, library resources, and lecture halls is generally smooth and organized. Yehi balance—functional classrooms + labs + library depth—daily learning ko reliable banata hai. Campus spread is a clear positive: open, green spaces, dedicated sports areas, and a structured layout make movement logical and campus life active. Sports grounds, indoor facilities, and basic utilities (bank/ATM, medical support, helpdesks) ensure routine needs are addressed without derailing study schedules—matlab infrastructure day-to-day rhythm ko support karta hai. Hostels and connectivity add to the stability: separate accommodation blocks, campus Wi‑Fi, and common spaces help students manage academics and downtime together. Common areas and service points reduce friction during peak academic weeks—yeh subtle cheezein overall experience ko steady rakhti hain. Why not 5/5? On a large campus, walking distances between blocks can feel long, and some facilities show uneven upkeep or delayed fixes—particularly in select labs or activity areas. Kabhi-kabhi cafeteria/vendor churn and small admin delays bhi experience ko thoda affect kar sakte hain. These are not deal-breakers, but they keep it a solid 4/5 instead of flawless. Net-net, infrastructure is dependable, student-first, and aligned with academic priorities. If someone values structured learning environments, usable labs, active sports spaces, and a campus that feels like a self-contained ecosystem, NSUT’s infra genuinely delivers—4/5 is a thoughtful, grounded rating.

Strong research base and placements self-driven

College Infrastructure

The campus is very big. It has modern and green campus. It has also well-maintained environment with classrooms. It has also hostel facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned amd washrooms are neat and clean.

Faculty, infrastructure is good, but placement is poor.

College Infrastructure

The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like wifi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel is also nice and provides good quality food in mess and canteens.
