The preference order you should consider is:
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website.
Good luck, hope it helps!!
Hello Aspirants,
Hope you doing well, it totally depends on your intrest if you are interested in working with ai and machine learning you should go for NSIT as after the graduation you will be working on that thing but yeah in CSE you will also geta same chance and all I think if we see colleges then DTU is more likely a step forward the NSIT in DTU you get a tag of DTU and there colleges give many opportunities but in NSIT there is also an opportunity but here you will not get a tag of DTU so I would consider for going DTU,Btw DTU and NSIT both give the chance to qualify the Top MNCs like AMAZON,MICROSOFT,GOLDMANSACHS and etc
Btw if you want to know that which colleges are allowing your marks or rank you can check JEE College Predictor where you will get all the top colleges list according to their ranking which are allowing your rank or marks you will get a detailed list where all the criteria will be written of that college like placement, average package, fees and many more details so what are you waiting for here's the link.

Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have secured 42k rank in JEE mains and taking into consideration that you belong general category and you are aiming for dtu and nsit so let me tell you that the cut offs are way higher for outside Delhi candidates.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Wish you all the very best!
Hi
If you have completed your class 12th from Chandigarh then Home State quota will apply only in colleges and universities in Chandigarh. Such as Panjab University, Punjab Engineering College(PEC) etc. will provide Home State quota seats. You can also participate in JAC Chandigarh counselling. BUT Home State quota will not be applicable for colleges in Delhi or any other UT.
I hope this helps
Good Luck
Hello Aspirant! With this percentile your expected CRL rank would be around 184895 to 173875. With this rank, it's quite difficult for you to get admission into NSIT Delhi even if you've a category rank of 53786. You can apply for other colleges accepting this rank like KIIT Bhubaneshwar, Lovely Professional University, Chandigarh University, Jaipur University and many others. You can use this link to predict your college:

Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing good. Candidates should have obtained at least 60% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry. and Mathematics and also had English as a subject are eligible to get admitted into NSIT. Since you have 64% in 12th, you are eligible. But mind it, cutoff for NSIT goes very high. So prepare well for JEE Mains and you'll surely get a seat in NSIT in CSE branch.
Hope this was helpful.

Thank you!
Hello. I don't think the eligibility criteria would still be fulfilled. You need an aggregate score of 75% in your board exams. The cut-off for these institutes is pretty high so prepare well.
I would give 4 out 5 giving 4/5 for infrastructure feels fair because the campus delivers strong academic support with modern essentials, while a few maintenance and distance-related frictions remain. The academic blocks have well-equipped classrooms and labs that support hands-on learning; access to computing facilities, library resources, and lecture halls is generally smooth and organized. Yehi balance—functional classrooms + labs + library depth—daily learning ko reliable banata hai. Campus spread is a clear positive: open, green spaces, dedicated sports areas, and a structured layout make movement logical and campus life active. Sports grounds, indoor facilities, and basic utilities (bank/ATM, medical support, helpdesks) ensure routine needs are addressed without derailing study schedules—matlab infrastructure day-to-day rhythm ko support karta hai. Hostels and connectivity add to the stability: separate accommodation blocks, campus Wi‑Fi, and common spaces help students manage academics and downtime together. Common areas and service points reduce friction during peak academic weeks—yeh subtle cheezein overall experience ko steady rakhti hain. Why not 5/5? On a large campus, walking distances between blocks can feel long, and some facilities show uneven upkeep or delayed fixes—particularly in select labs or activity areas. Kabhi-kabhi cafeteria/vendor churn and small admin delays bhi experience ko thoda affect kar sakte hain. These are not deal-breakers, but they keep it a solid 4/5 instead of flawless. Net-net, infrastructure is dependable, student-first, and aligned with academic priorities. If someone values structured learning environments, usable labs, active sports spaces, and a campus that feels like a self-contained ecosystem, NSUT’s infra genuinely delivers—4/5 is a thoughtful, grounded rating.
The campus is very big. It has modern and green campus. It has also well-maintained environment with classrooms. It has also hostel facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned amd washrooms are neat and clean.
The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like wifi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel is also nice and provides good quality food in mess and canteens.
