Mtech admission is 50% in BE. I hv 54% after clearing all backs. So am i eligible for mtech? Vtu considers 1st attempt marks only for aggre.

Aggregate marks after all subjects that is just not first attempts but the last attempt marks will be counted which is more than 50%in your case and hence you aee surely eligible for Mtech courses under General category in VTU.

In engineering colleges autonomous is good or VTU is good for placement?

That depends on the college as some autonomous colleges are good and some are not good. Visvedvaraya technological university is a good university and only a few autonomous colleges better than this.

Hostel life is disciplined and safe. Food quality is average and may not suit everyone’s preferences. Still, accommodation facilities are generally comfortable. The university offers good lab infrastructure for practical learning.
